Lake Sanguinet is also a great place for experts to get some kiting in the late afternoons’ thermal wind. It pipes up most days from around 3 or 4pm and blows between 12 and 20 knots.
If you want more exciting sailing, (and for more of the day), then come and visit us during the months of May, June or September when the wind tends to be slightly stronger.
We can’t think of a better place to learn! Join a four-day course and do afternoon lessons only (4hrs a day) so you get plenty of time to chill with the family before they send you home a fully-fledged kite surfer at the end of your stay.
If you’re a quick learner, or you had a go before - then try the weekend course on Saturday and Sunday. Make sure you arrive early Saturday morning and check into one of our Saturday to Saturday mobile homes.
If you know thing or two about kiting and you’d like to improve, then the expert instructors at H2O kite on the beach at Club Mayotte will give you a specialist lesson, either one-on-one or one on two.

The kitesurfing lessons and courses at H2O (Club Mayotte) are always fully booked. Kiters come from all over France to learn and progress on the lake because of its almost perfect suitability. Make sure you book at least one month in advance, and if kiting is important to your stay please book directly with H2O before you book your holiday with us.
