At Alpine Elements, we’ve spent almost two decades refining our Kids’ Clubs to give families the right balance of time together and a little time apart. Our programme is designed around the way families actually holiday in the Alps — giving parents the chance to enjoy activities that younger children can’t join, enjoy a meal together on staff night off, and meet other families early in the week. The idea is simple: to help you enjoy more of the Alps with your children, and not without them!
The Alps are brilliant for all ages, but some activities aren’t suitable for younger children. That’s where our Kids’ Clubs come in.
Our sessions complement the activities already included in your holiday, such as whitewater rafting, by looking after the little ones while parents head off for an adventure of their own. We also include a Film ’n’ Popcorn Night so parents can enjoy a restaurant meal together, plus our Family Fun Day, where everyone joins in.
It’s a flexible approach that creates some valuable grown-up time without turning your family holiday into a week spent apart.
A great way to start the week, our Family Fun Day is designed to help children make new friends and give parents the chance to meet other families in a relaxed setting.
We head out together for a fun half-day adventure, which might include a riverside bike ride, swimming, paddleboarding at the lake, a picnic or a trip on the luge.
It’s sociable, informal and a brilliant ice-breaker for both children and adults.
We run one dedicated session each week, lasting around four hours, giving parents the chance to enjoy our included whitewater rafting trip or another activity that younger children may not be able to take part in, like Canyoning or DH Biking.
Meanwhile, our Active Leaders keep the children busy with an energetic programme of age-appropriate activities. They might be building dens, hunting for treasure, exploring the outdoors or taking on team challenges — all designed around having fun, making friends and enjoying the mountain environment.
On our staff night off, we include a Film ’n’ Popcorn Night, giving parents the chance to head out and enjoy a relaxed restaurant meal together.
The children get an evening of their own too, usually with a film, popcorn and pizza, often mixed with a quiz, game or activity.
It’s a fun, sociable evening for the kids — and a welcome night out for parents.
Our Active Club Leaders are chosen for their enthusiasm, kindness and ability to bring out the best in every child.
Carefully recruited and reference-checked in the UK, they’re passionate about creating safe, fun and memorable experiences that children will be talking about long after the holiday is over.
