Electric Mountain Biking (E-Bikes)

OFFER: Free Use E Bikes for Tignes & Les Gets guests

Imagine mountain biking without limits - where going uphill is just as fun as coming down! Rent an electric mountain bike and open up more of the mountain, without the need for a lift pass! They allow you to explore far from the public trails and give you the confidence (and power) to travel longer distances, knowing that you can always ‘turn on the electric’ to get back home. We guarantee that you’ll be hooked the moment you make your first pedal stroke as E-bikes make everything faster and more enjoyable. Even valley floor trail riding becomes a lot more fun!

Hooked from your first pedal stroke!

We guarantee that you’ll be hooked the moment you make your first pedal stroke as E-bikes make everything faster and more enjoyable. Even flat paths and valley floor trail riding become a lot more fun; and when you get to a hill - just turn up the settings to turbo and any ascent becomes a doddle!

No need for a lift pass

E-bikes are pedal assisted machines that will help you get around the mountains and trails much faster and cover more distance than ever before; and you don't need a lift pass - so you can explore the less commonly used trails far from the crowds

You’ll be able to ascend the steepest of hills with ease and cover many miles with far less effort. We’ll guarantee that you’ll be hooked the moment you make your first pedal stroke.

Go for an E-Bike adventure

Follow our Route Cards and go for a half or full day E-Bike adventure along the valley floor and up into the mountains. An Electric bike has a pedal-assist motor meaning that the motor will boost every pedal stroke you make and allow you to cover many more miles of terrain. Riding up a relatively steep incline means you'd only need to put in the same amount of energy as if you were riding along a very gradual incline. It’s a pretty fine idea!

The battery normally has 3 to 5 modes from Eco to Boost and the battery will last approx. 4-6 hours before you need to plug-into a mountain restaurant. The chargers we provide come with standard domestic sockets.  There's even ten charge points across the Portes du Soleil which were free during the 2024 summer season.

E-bikes are certainly here to stay. They allow us to access mountain trails where motor bikes and 4x4 are banned off-road. Full-sus’ E-bikes have been likened to ‘motocross bikes’ as they allow you to charge up a steep rutted track...but they're far safer and anyone can use them with basic bike riding skills.
