About Chalet Victoria

Located next door to Chalets Camelia and Camarine, the Victoria is an attractive and welcoming chalet, with a light and bright interior and impressive views of the mountains and ski slopes of Roc de Fer in the distance. The living area is our favourite feature of this chalet.

Light, bright and very spacious, it offers spectacular views over the Méribel valley and mountains from its many windows. Settle into the comfy sofas in front of a warming log fire and enjoy our afternoon teas and three course dinners.

You’ll love the large south-facing terrace and exposed wooden beams which create a wonderfully cosy atmosphere and helps make this chalet one of our favourites!

The bedrooms are traditionally furnished and all have an en suite bathroom with toilet.

The Victoria is well located in Meribel. It’s only 5 minutes’ walk from the popular apres ski bar, O’Sullivan’s. And 10 minutes’ walk from Méribel centre with its array of shops and bars.

For skiing, it’s just a short hop to the slopes at the Chaudanne on the free ski bus which stops outside the chalet, (50 metres). The bus runs until 11pm, with increased services during peak times.

Food and Wine

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on most days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served six nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff's night off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (4 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (6 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!

Book Smart and Save Money

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
