The ‘Cascades’ Adventure Park is a free-and-inclusive activity for all our Morzine guests and it was voted the most enjoyed activity in 2025. Each session lasts for about 3 hours+ as you traverse through the treetops and around the waterfall of the forest of Nyon. There’s an Adventure course and an Adventure Plus course for more thrills (ages 13+), meaning everyone in the family can join in together!
Top Tip: Make a day of it by combining your Cascades adventure with a scenic walk or cycle along the river to the activity centre.
The Cascades High Adventure Course is a family favourite, with a fun Adventure Course for 6–12 year olds and a more challenging Adventure PLUS for teens and adults.
Climb high through the treetops, tackling rope bridges, cargo nets, swings and exhilarating zip lines, all safely secured by your harness. It's the perfect mix of adventure, fun and adrenaline – guaranteed to leave the whole family wanting another go!
On arrival, our Active Team will be on hand to help you get started. After a safety briefing and an introduction to the courses, you’ll get harnessed up and the fun begins! The Cascades Adventure is designed so everyone can participate together, with adult and child routes running almost side-by-side so you can enjoy the course with your family. There’s a lovely woodland cafe for lunch; or why not order a pack lunch from the hotel and picnic at the Nyon waterfalls.
After your adventure, cycle or walk back to Morzine (or take the free bus). Or, why not extend your day and cycle up to the Lac Mines D’Or which is a beautiful bucolic lake.
Our Active Team will help you get started with a safety briefing and harness fitting before you head into the trees. Adult and child routes run side by side, so the whole family can enjoy the adventure together.
Afterwards, refuel at the woodland café or enjoy a picnic by the beautiful Nyon waterfalls. Then, walk, cycle or hop on the free bus back to Morzine – or extend your day with a ride up to the idyllic Lac des Mines d'Or.
