Fly Fishing

Learn Fly Fishing and enjoy a beautiful day out at Lac du Chardonnet which you can get to via the Palafour chairlift (free on your MyTignes pass). Or, why not make a more adventurous excursion and walk up to the lake on a hiking trail. It takes just under an hour by lift to get to the lake and 1Hr 45 if walking up

The activity is open to everyone, whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler. An on-site supervisor can help you take your first steps as a fisherman. Children aged 7+ are welcome to join in.

The Early Morning Riser

  • Take the Palafour chairlift (Free on MyTignes pass)
  • Pass 10.30 to 12.30
  • On-site supervisor will help you learn
  • €22
  • Book with our Active Reps

If you're an early bird, you can either make the ascent to the lake on foot or take the first chairlift from Palafour (9am) using your MyTignes pass. This is the first slot of the day which starts at 10.30am at the lake, so prepare to be at the Palafour chairlift by 09.15 so you can take your time and enjoy the walk to the lake.

The lake Chardonnet  is accessed from the Palafour chair lift but you can walk up to the lake (300m rise) in about 1Hr 30m. Our Reps will help you discover the trail.

Fishing rods and bait are supplied for rainbow trout or brook salmon that feed the lake. If you are experienced, or lucky, you can enjoy a grilled barbecue (available on site).

Route 2: Take the Palafour chairlift from Tignes le Lac, then a descend on foot to the lake, approximately 1 hour in total (incl the lift).

As a reward, you’ll get an unbeatable view over the lake of Tignes... At the end of the activity, the only way to get down is to walk!
