Your home for the week

Chalet Laurier is a very spacious chalet for 15 in the heart of the popular ski village of Plagne 1800. It is also perfect for groups and you even can get free spaces, (most weeks), for booking the chalet privately or filling all 15 beds.

It has an almost ski to door location and its own hot tub with superb views of the ski slopes from its sunny aspect balconies. The best of the Paradiski is right on your doorstep, including slopes for beginners, ski lesson meeting points and slopes for the experts.

For skiing, simply clip-in to your skis just 50 metres from the front door and ski down an access-track to the main Plagne 1800 chairlift for direct access to Plagne 2000 and the best slopes in the resort. When you return, the homerun stops just 100 metres or so away, and is either the blue "Jean-Marie" or "Lovatière" or the red "Les Mines" piste.

Chalet Laurier has 8 ensuite bedrooms and the rare benefit of a single en-suite bedroom giving groups lots of flexibility. Enjoy a large open plan lounge and dining room for convivial evenings around the dinner table with sunny balconies offering spectacular views of the ski slopes, which are just a stone’s throw away. The living area was recently refurbished and offers the perfect place to relax and indulge in our afternoon teas; or with a glass of something fizzy while your chalets hosts prepare the evening meal.

There is a private chalet hot tub and even a games room which is MUST for that essential post-ski relaxation, or just entertaining the kids before dinner.

About La Plagne

La Plagne and the Paradiski make up the 4th largest ski area in France and it’s as snow sure as they come! It has two glaciers for skiing at Plagne Bellecôte (3250m) and the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs (3226m). Try the 7 Km long run down from the top of the Aguille Rouge or explore the peaks of La Plagne, where you’ll find a seemingly endless supply of powder-snow, and some of the best (and longest) descents in France.

From 1800, you will find lots of long runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders with a seemingly endless supply of powdery off-piste and some of the longest descents in France.

La Plagne 1800 is one of the prettier satellites of the La Plagne ski area and has a nice variety of apres ski bars and ski shops. It is also in the treeline which adds charm and practicality for skiing on a day when the weather comes in.
