Poles help propel the walker along. This means the walker works harder than usual yet the support from the poles makes it feel easier!
All our resorts are ideal for Nordic Walking and each have at least 400 to 800 km of tracks and trails for walking. Nordic walks will take in some wonderful scenery and views and the ski lift system will allow walkers to cover many miles in a day. Some resorts offer specific courses which have been designed for this new sport, however, it can be done anywhere and by anybody and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
Nordic Walking is one of the fastest growing fitness activities because it is highly effective, affordable and fun! You can take a mountain guide to orientate you around the mountain, or to try more adventurous walks and glacier treks. We can provide you with suggestions and route maps so that you can take to the hills under your own steam. Nordic poles are also available in all chalets and hotels for the 2016/17 season.
Our Holidays come with more than enough free activities for your week included in our ‘Free Active Packs’ (which are worth up to £355).
You can try even more activities once in resort. Some may carry a small cost and not all activities are available in all resorts.
