Marilyn is a lovely summertime chalet for 8, offering sensational views from its sunny balcony. It’s a true alpine retreat with a cosy wooden interior and in a prime location to enjoy Tignes’ activities, lifts and biking or walking trails. There’s even a chalet sauna for soothing your aching limbs after a day on the hill.

We don’t offer a Free Active Pack for the Marilyn. Instead, we give each guest a 6 day MyTignes Multipass with access to resort activities and all the lifts and trails for biking and walking. Tignes is part of the Vanoise National Park and with more than 300 days’ sunshine a year and lots to do on the MyTignes pass, we know you’ll like it here!

Tignes offers more activities than you could shake a kayak paddle at. Here's a selection of some of the best.

Location

The Marilyn is in Tignes Le Lavachet, in one of the nicest (and only) chalet style neighbourhoods in Tignes. The Marilyn is very close to the Chaudannes and Paquis chair lifts, giving easy access to two sides of Tignes' valley. You’ll also enjoy quick access to many bars, cafes and shops.

About Tignes

Tignes is set around a beautiful lake and hosts more activities than in any other alpine resort, from the weird and wonderful to classic alpine pursuits. Try the Giant Slide into the lake, a session of paddleboarding, kayaking or pedalo. You might prefer water balls (zorbing on water) or fly fishing and trampolining or summer skiing on its glacier. You can also try canyoning,, glacier walking, whitewater rafting and parapenting to name a few classics.

We really love Tignes for its sheer variety and the best summer skiing and boarding in Europe (until early August). We also like the resorts’ hot and sunny climate (300 days of sunshine a year); and its great golf courses, via ferrata and horse riding.

One thing’s for sure - you’ll never be bored in Tignes!

If you like a little more privacy and a true alpine retreat - but relish being active from dawn til’ dusk trying lots of new sports - then you’re going to like the Marilyn. It's a four diamond, well appointed chalet, offered exclusively by us. The sun terrace has stunning views and the lounge is lovely and cosy. You will like it here!

Tignes' impressive lake is the centerpiece to this resort and hosts many great activities and a small selection is included for free on our My Tignes multipass. There’s more activities in Tignes than in any other alpine resort, from the weird and wacky to classic alpine pursuits. For the months of June and July, Tignes glacier is open for summer skiing. There’s a good selection of runs open and more than enough to give you a skiing fix, before heading back down to resort level to soak up some sun or try other activities in the afternoon.
