Your home for the week
Les Oranges Bleues is a 5 Diamond luxury ski retreat with hot tub, sauna and sensational ski slope views. It sleeps 12 adults (+ 1 child) over six en-suite bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is a spacious apartment within the chalet. There is also a second apartment downstairs which can sleep a further 2-4 persons, self catered, if you wish to extend your group size to 16.
You can ski your way back to the chalet steps in the garden, so the location is fantastic! It isn’t a regular ski-run but an oft-used track which is easy for all but complete beginners to pole-and-ski their way back to the chalet. The main slopes, lifts and ski school meeting points are a minute or so away. The shops and bars of Plagne 1800 are even closer. You really can après-ski to your heart’s content and stagger home for dinner in minutes!
Nestling quietly in the trees, just above the town centre, the chalet has a superb location for skiing and apres-skiing in the legendary Plagne 1800, which many will agree is the prettiest of all the La Plagne ski-villages.
There is an open plan lounge and dining room boasting a log fireplace, large plasma screen Internet TV and wrap-around balconies with ski slope views. All-in-all, the perfect place to relax and enjoy treats from the kitchen as your host serves freshly made cakes for afternoon tea before a delicious 3 course evening meal and wine.
Outside on the sun deck is a hot tub with mountain views and a chalet sauna for post-ski recuperation. Downstairs is a ski room with boot warmers, of course!
Bedrooms... take your pick
With six ensuite bedrooms over three floors, (one is a lovely apartment complete with kitchenette), this is a chalet for 12 + 1 child. On the main floor is an open plan lounge and dining room with a hot tub on the sundeck and a chalet sauna. Downstairs is a ski room with boot warmers. Bedroom 1 is a self contained apartment with kitchenette for added privacy but is part of the catered chalet. Next to it is a second ‘mirror image apartment’ which can be booked separately as self-catered. Parking is free or low cost and quite nearby.
