Camelia is a newly renovated 4 diamond chalet for 15 with panoramic views of the ski slopes and mountains. It’s a 2 min’ walk to Sully’s, (a popular après-ski bar in Méribel-Mussillon), and 6 or 7 mins' walk to the start of the shops and bars in Méribel centre. Another couple of mins’ and you’ll find the ski-slopes behind the tourist office. If you’d rather not walk, the free bus stops outside giving quick access to the bars and slopes of Chaudanne.

Your home for the week

Chalet Camelia has had a full refurbishment for the 2024 ski season and has a modern and bright feel with spectacular, distant views of the mountains and ski slopes of the Roc de Fer from its sunny balconies.

The Camelia is an ideal chalet for couples or groups and families to share as it benefits from quick and easy access to the slopes (and ski-school meeting points) by the free bus that stops outside. You can walk to the apres-ski bars in a couple of minutes and additional shops and bars of Meribel centre are about a 6 or 7 minute walk away. The ski slopes are less than a 10 min’ walk, just behind the Tourist Office, but we’d recommend taking the free bus if you’re in ski boots which runs every 30 mins and will whisk you to the Chaudanne in moments.

You’ll enjoy cosy evenings in front of a roaring log fire with panoramic views from its elevated position. Your Alpine Elements host will provide freshly baked cakes or biscuits for apres-ski, before preparing a three course evening meal and wine for 6 nights a week.

Bedrooms... take your pick

Seven ensuite bedrooms with up to 15 beds. You can get discounts & free spaces for booking the chalet privately. Camelia is laid over three levels, with an open plan dining room and sitting room with sofas, open fireplace, Internet TV, dvd, iPod dock, board games and Wi-Fi. Boot dryer/warmers as standard and lovely sunny balconies with panoramic views of the mountains and slopes in the distance complete the atmosphere.

• Bedroom 1: Twin/Dbl (large room) with ensuite bath & wc, balcony & views
• Bedroom 2: Twin/Triple (large room) with ensuite bath & wc, balcony & views
• Bedroom 3: Twin/Dbl with ensuite bath & wc
• Bedroom 4: Twin/Dbl with ensuite bath & wc

Location

Camelia is well located in Méribel-Musillon. It’s a 2 or 3 min’ walk to ‘Sully’s, the popular apres ski bar and late-night hangout; and 6 or 7 mins’ walk to the start of the shops and bars in Méribel centre. Whilst doable in trainers, (and quite a nice walk in the evening), we’d recommend jumping on the free bus if you’re in ski boots because it stops right outside!

For skiing, you can walk up to the slope behind the tourist office in less than 10 mins’, but again, we’d recommend using the free bus which stops outside and will whisk you to the Chaudanne ski area and ski school meeting points in minutes. The bus circuits every 30 mins’ through to 11.30pm.
