Chalet Etienne

Meribel
7 Rooms

An absolutely stunning 15 bed Premium Plus ski chalet in one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Meribel, Meribel Village. It’s a short, 5 minute walk to the nearest ski lift, the piste and the centre of the resort, and route-one access to the best skiing and boarding in the Three Valleys.

Your home for the week

Chalet Etienne is a Premium Plus, 14-15 bed ski chalet with a cracking location above Meribel Village. It’s just a short walk to the ski slopes and village centre; and benefits from a sunny balcony with an outdoor hot tub and views of the ski pistes in the distance.

This is not only one of our favorite ski resorts, but one of our nicest chalets, too. Not ‘uber modern’ as you’d expect a luxury chalet to be, but if you like bohemian styles, old mixed with new - then we consider this to be better than any luxury ski-pad that we’ve come across. It’s stylish in a tasteful way, and will appeal to the typical Meribel loving skier.

There’s a large open-plan living and dining area. A sauna for some post-ski recuperation; and amazing views of the mountains and to the pistes coming into Meribel Village.

At mealtimes your Alpine Elements host will serve up cooked and continental breakfasts for skiers on a mission! And then freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea and our signature three course evening menus to follow.

Layout & bedrooms

Seven spacious bedrooms with beds for up to 15: Lounge, kitchen, dining room, outdoor hot tub on balcony with views of slopes, indoor sauna and boot room with boot warmers. The balcony has distant views of the slopes and mountains. Most rooms can fit a cot - please request at time of booking. Rooms will be cleaned twice a week in line with our strict Covid-19 policy. Parking for several cars is outside chalet

Location

Méribel Village is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Méribel. It affords quick access to the slopes (a rare thing for Méribel) so you don't need a shuttle bus to get around.

Chalet Etienne enjoys a lofty position and incredible views above Méribel Village. It’s a short, 5 minute walk to the nearest ski lift and the pistes of the ‘Village - where you’ll find a charming resort centre - and its lively apres ski bars. In terms of distance, this equates to about 450 metres (or 5 mins walk) to the central roundabout and ski hire shops.

Eat, drink and be skiing

The only thing we enjoy as much as fresh powder is freshly-cooked food at the end of a day on the slopes. You can expect the very best from our highly-trained hosts and chefs, because we know that eating and drinking well are essential parts of any ski holiday.

Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions. A freshly-cooked Full English or other cooked breakfast options to set you up for the day (on 3 days); or mouth-watering continental options if you’d prefer, with a slap-up continental breakfast on staff days off.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes and each of our chalets has its own Nespresso machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

  • Breakfast each day (7 days) with hot options on 3 days
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three-course Dinners (6 nights)
  • Red & white wines with dinner, unlimited until dessert.
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Méribel Village is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Méribel. It affords quick access to the slopes (a rare thing for Méribel) so you don't need a shuttle bus to get around.

The local skiing and boarding suits beginners and experts and the resort itself suits everyone from families to apres-ski fanatics (the bar in the resort is very lively!) who appreciate a quieter, more charming feel.

You’ll be in the heart of the 3 Valleys and ‘Village offers route-one access to the Altiport for nurseries, the powder descents of La Saulire and La Tania, the Courchevel sector for easy cruising and it links quickly to Les Menuires and Val Thorens for the ultimate choice. I.e. you are not stuck at one end of the valley with a long trek out, and all areas are very easy to get to.

Group Ski Savings

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
