Chalet Etienne enjoys a lofty position and incredible views above Meribel Village which is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Meribel. This beautiful bohemian-style chalet is a real treat for visiting skiers and ensconses you within our cosy alpine-world.
There’s seven beautifully furnished and spacious ensuite bedrooms, a sauna and hot tub with distant ski slope views, but it’s the quaint charm and skiing-convenience of Meribel Villages that we really love. You’ll find a couple of ski shops nearby (or doorstep fitting services) and one of the area’s best après-ski bars - not in Meribel-centre, but in Villages itself! So good that all the seasonaires flock to it for various events and every Wednesday for DJ’s and live music.
Access to the skiing
It’s a rare thing indeed for a Meribel chalet not to require a bus to get to the slopes. Not only does the Etienne have no need for a bus, but it’s just 5 mins walk to one of the best connected chairlifts in the area. And it suits all levels of skier, even the children.
The Golf Express chairlift will whisk you straight up to the Altiport and ski lesson meeting points, so it’s great for families; and almost all abilities can ski home on an easy blue run that runs under the Golf. More advanced skiers will enjoy direct connections to the wider 3 Valleys and the fact the local area is tree-lined and the best place to ski (in Meribel) on a snowy day when the visibility is poor.
Oh, and by the way… our favourite bit is that you can ski straight back home after a long and lazy lunch at Le Clos Bernard, a beautiful and exclusive restaurant in the woods on the Altiport.
So, after a fun day’s skiing and perhaps a few Vin Chauds at the Lodge in Villages - come back to the chalet for a freshly baked cake, a dip in the hot tub or a recuperative sauna and our excellent three course evening menu served by your Alpine Elements chalet host.

Seven spacious, ensuite bedrooms for up to 15 guests and you can get discounts & free spaces for booking the chalet privately. All bedrooms have two single beds which can be zip-and-locked to make large doubles. Characterful lounge and dining room, outdoor hot tub on balcony (with views of the slopes) and a sauna and boot room with boot dryers.
