The Castor is a charming and cosy ski chalet for 10-11 and we recommend it for groups that know each other well. The chalet is laid out over three floors with five en-suite bedrooms and if you fill all the beds - we can give you group discounts and free spaces.
The chalet has a light and bright interior with wood panelled walls and exposed wooden beams. On the middle floor you’ll find a cosy open plan living room with a log fireplace, sofa seating and a dining room.
The chalet also enjoys a great location: it’s just 100m from Sully’s, a famous apres ski bar which also attracts a late night crowd; and it’s only a 5 or 6 min’ walk to the start of the bars and shops in Meribel town centre. Another 2 mins’ along is the Tourist Office and ski slopes behind, which run straight down to the Chaudanne for ski school meeting points and full 3-Valleys connections. If you prefer not to walk in ski-boots, the free bus stops very near the chalet and will take you there in a few minutes.
Castor is a great chalet for families or friends looking for a convenient location and excellent value for money. As usual, you can expect a high level of Alpine Elements chalet service: with a hearty breakfast each day, afternoon tea and freshly made cakes as you return from the slopes, followed by three course evening meals and wine for 6 nights a week.
