It benefits from a great location: just 100m from Sully’s après ski bar and only 5 mins’ walk to the start of the shops and bars in Meribel centre. Another 2 mins’ along is the Tourist Office and a ski slope which runs straight to the Chaudanne ski school meeting points. A truly great location!

Your home for the week

The Castor is a charming and cosy ski chalet for 10-11 and we recommend it for groups that know each other well. The chalet is laid out over three floors with five en-suite bedrooms and if you fill all the beds - we can give you group discounts and free spaces.

The chalet has a light and bright interior with wood panelled walls and exposed wooden beams. On the middle floor you’ll find a cosy open plan living room with a log fireplace, sofa seating and a dining room.

The chalet also enjoys a great location: it’s just 100m from Sully’s, a famous apres ski bar which also attracts a late night crowd; and it’s only a 5 or 6 min’ walk to the start of the bars and shops in Meribel town centre. Another 2 mins’ along is the Tourist Office and ski slopes behind, which run straight down to the Chaudanne for ski school meeting points and full 3-Valleys connections. If you prefer not to walk in ski-boots, the free bus stops very near the chalet and will take you there in a few minutes.


Castor is a great chalet for families or friends looking for a convenient location and excellent value for money. As usual, you can expect a high level of Alpine Elements chalet service: with a hearty breakfast each day, afternoon tea and freshly made cakes as you return from the slopes, followed by three course evening meals and wine for 6 nights a week.

Chalet Castor is a popular choice for families and friends with 5 en-suite bedrooms and beds for 11 guests. We think it’s best for 10, however you can get group discounts and free spaces. for filling all beds in the chalet privately, and for most weeks of the season. Castor is laid out over three floors with an open plan lounge and dining room with a log fireplace afor the atmosphere. There’s Internet TV, comfy sofas, board games and Wi-Fi. Parking is free and very close to the chalet (<50m).

Location

The chalet is located in the very popular Mussillon area of Méribel, just 100 metres from Sully’s bar for apres ski; and 150m from the local Supermarket and Pizza Express!

You can walk to the main town centre in about 6-7 mins’ where you will find the Tourist Office and access to the ski slopes which run straight down to the Chaudanne for all your ski school meeting points and main ski lifts, giving direct access to the wider 3 Valleys ski area. Alternatively, there is a free shuttle bus that stops nearby and will whisk you there in moments.

In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with a delicious three-course menu, accompanied by free-flowing wines until dessert. All this is served on six nights of your stay, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants on staff nights off.
