Alpine Plus Chalet Catering for 2023/24

Catering for 2024/25 (all chalets)

We set very high standards in our Alpine Plus chalets and hotels, and the food and drink is no exception. You can expect the very best from our highly-trained Alpine Plus hotel chefs and chalet hosts, because we know that eating and drinking well are essential parts of any ski holiday.

We’re true foodies at heart,  so you can expect the very best in chalet catering for your stay. If you’ve ever stayed with us before you’ll know that all our talented hosts pride themselves on their top-notch food and service, and we love to get praise from happy, well-fed guests at the end of each week.

We take it up a notch with the food in our Alpine Plus properties, so take a look at what you get to enjoy...

We no longer classify our chalets with a ‘Premium Plus’ label. All our chalets are rated 3 to 5 diamonds which is a unique Alpine rating; and now operate the same level of service.

What’s Included on an Alpine Elements Holiday

Our Alpine Plus Chalets & Hotels

Breakfast for a (snow) king or queen

Start your day the right way with a breakfast fit for a (snow) king or queen. We serve a true skier’s breakfast with Full English or other cooked options for three days, plus a continental selection that will set you up perfectly for a day on the mountain. You can expect cereals, porridge, preserves, French pastries, (croissants, pain au chocolat), breads, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices and tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

For three mornings we offer a delicious cooked breakfast with things like bacon, eggs, sausage and beans or hot options like pancakes or firm favourites like bacon rolls. On a staff day off, a simpler continental breakfast will be laid out for you.

Hungry yet? Thought so.

Scrumptious cakes for afternoon tea

Life is full of simple pleasures… We’re firmly of the belief that one of those is coming back at the end of the day after some hard (or easy - we don’t judge) yards on the slopes, to be met by the smell of freshly-baked cake wafting around your chalet. We serve cake (or home-made biscuits) each afternoon except on the staff day off. So you can unwind, take your boots off, put your feet up in front of a roaring log fire with a cuppa and a slice of cake.

Our Signature menus

Enjoy a delicious, freshly-cooked five-course dinner from your chalet hosts with free-flowing wine with the meal in our catered chalets, (specially priced wine lists for hotels). We’ll make sure you’re well-fed and watered, with plenty of healthy, hearty food to satisfy the hungriest skier and refuel the most revenous snowboarder.

Your five courses include canapés and pre-dinner drinks as a first course and after dinner coffee, choccies and a glass of port as your fifth course.

Unlike many ski operators, we include an evening meal for 6 nights (not just five). On one night, (staff day off), we don't provide dinner so you’re free to explore the local restaurants.

Children’s tea

Where we have chalets and chalet hotels with families, we lay on tea for the under-13s with a healthy menu to suit their tastes. We will happily provide puréed food for toddlers if you let us know. We serve tea at 5.30pm, and children don’t join dinner later that evening so that grown-ups can enjoy an hour or two of child-free time.
