About Chalet Cascade

Chalet Cascade is a ski-to-door chalet in winter with lovely views of the Bellevarde. You’ll not only love its location (right by a bike-and-walking trail) but you’ll appreciate its superior facilities too. The chalet has a pool table, games’ room and the holy trinity of luxury facilities: a steam room; a sauna and a hot tub.

The chalet enjoys a location which is right beside the bottom of some of the best walking and mountain biking homeruns in resort. The trails lead down from the famous Bellevard gondola and take walkers and riders back to the centre. Access to the town is pretty easy too. Just use your (inclusive) mountain bike hire to cycle to the shops and bars in minutes.

We run the chalet as an exclusive home-from-home for mountain-loving Brits in the summer. Enjoy wonderful views, delicious 3 course dinners, roaring log fires and afternoon tea with freshly made cakes. All served by your own (rather brilliant) chalet hosts. Don't forget we have 3 other chalet-apartments within this building so they’re ideal for larger groups to book together. We have almost 50 beds across these 4 great chalets in our Legettaz residence.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the hills and lakes, which you’ll be able to tuck into, on six days of your stay. Each of our chalets has its own Nespresso machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with a delicious three-course menu, accompanied by free-flowing wines until dessert. All this is served on six nights of your stay, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants on staff's night off.

Climbing and Via Ferrata

Val is famous for its Via Ferrata. A rugged form of hiking, scrambling and climbing over fixed routes and climbing aids pre set into the rock. The routes are free to use but we recommend using a guide (which we can arrange) to get the best out of it. The local Via Ferrata is among the best around, and helps you discover incredible scenery. So make sure you give it a go.

Walking in the alps with a professional guide is so interesting and rewarding that we include a guided walk for free!
