The Chalet

This chalet is a ski lover and Mèribel lover's delight! Found just above Mèribel's central square, with views from the chalet's balcony over the town to the mountains beyond. The stone and wood clad exterior architecture is carried into the chalet with wood beams in the spacious living area. The open and airy dining and lounge areas are made even more welcoming by the impressive stone fireplace. All bedrooms not only have stunning mountain views but also balconies from which to enjoy them. The chalet features en-suite bedrooms throughout. On the ground floor, guests have full use of the ski room, with it's heated boot rack - a welcome feature. The terrace hosts the perfect place for Après Ski relaxation: a hot tub!

Location

Piste access is easy; Walk to the centre of town (5-10 minute walk) or catch the ski bus at the end of the road (5 minute walk) to the Doran (blue) run. After a short run down guests are at La Chaudanne lift station.

For evenings out, it is the same distance to Mèribel centre, and all the restaurants, bars and other attractions which it is justly famous for.

Eat, drink and go skiing

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on most days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served six nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff's night off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (4 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (6 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!

Book Smart and Save Money

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
