The Chalet

Plagne 1800 is the most appealing and popular of the 4 La Plagne satellite villages and the chalet Michelle is right in the thick of the action, just 100 to 150 metres from the slopes! The chalet has bags of character with a very warm and cosy sitting room with sofas and a log fire.

The dining room offers superb ski slope views and a sunny aspect balcony. Most bedrooms are en suite or have private bathroom. There are even 2 single bedrooms, quite a rarity in any ski chalet.

Location

Boasting an almost ski-to-door location - the slopes and ski lifts are approx 150 metres from the chalet, the Michelle is a must have chalet for serious skiers and boarders!

Bars, shops and restaurants are all close to hand, offering the ultimate in ski convenience.

The ski school meeting place is only a short walk away from the chalet.

Eat, drink and go skiing

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on most days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served 5 nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff nights off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (4 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (5 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (5 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About La Plagne

The snow sure nature of La Plagne is helped by the glacier skiing at Plagne Bellecôte, which extends up to 3250 metres. From here you will find an up to 2000m vertical drop, with some Black and Red slopes together with a seemingly endless supply of powder, and some of the longest descents in France.

Our Chalets in La Plagne are mostly ski to door or very close to the slopes. They are also just a short, easy ski to the ski school meeting points - so convenient skiing is definitely something which you can look forward too

Book Smart and Save Money

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
