We offer free kids bike with all our summer alpine holidays, so just grab one from our racks and enjoy a two-wheeled adventure. There’s a more limited stock of kids bikes and the Rip-Rocks, but we normally have more than enough to give you plenty of riding each week.
Rip Rock Spec: Front suspension, 24" wheels, ultra-wide tyres, disc brakes
We have bikes available for kids under 6 years but this one is worth its own webpage! The Rip Rock is a proper little ‘beefed up’ mountain bike for ages 6+ with oversize tyres which are all the rage right now. An ideal bike for kids to build confidence on gentle off-road trails and is purpose-built for fun, no matter how your little one decides to ride it. The Rip Rock features easy-to-use gears and Specialized bikes’ all-new ultra-wide tyres with 24-inch wheels to provide heaps of traction, control and confidence. Guaranteed smiles all round!
A stock of Kids’ bikes and the Rip Rocks are available from our main hotels in Morzine, so hotel and chalet guests can grab one from our racks whenever they choose. In Tignes we have standard kids bikes available.
There are plenty of adult (small, medium and large size) mountain bikes to go around, but a more limited stock of kids bikes and Rip Rock bikes for the under 9’s. In our experience, it is rare for guests to go without a bike for long. If a kids bike or Rip Rock bike is important for you, please ask our reps to ensure you have time using them when you arrive.
In each of our main hotels we have a fully kitted bike-workshop and trained bike mechanics to keep your wheels rolling. If you notice a fault, then take the bike straight back to them. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged for accidental damage or wear n’ tear if you use the bikes in accordance with our allowable use guidelines.
