Location

The Waterloo is a lovely alpine chalet close to the centre of Tignes Les Brévières which was built to a high standard and features its own sauna. Wonderful views from the chalet extend out over the lake and up into the mountains of Tignes.

Les Brévierès is a very pretty and tranquil village, which contrasts with Tignes’ high rise architecture. Perfect for those of you who prefer the cheery atmosphere of a 'chocolate box' alpine village, yet desire the access to Tignes’ extensive facilities if you want.

Such access to Tignes gives Les Brévières a ‘best of both worlds’ feel: Great activities but with a village ambiance! Although a relatively small, Brévières has a variety of restaurants and bars.

Why Choose Chalet Waterloo?

Inclusive Lift pass

All our holidays to Val d’Isère and Tignes come with a free walking lift pass and a free biking lift pass - which is a real bonus as a bike lift pass costs up to €98 in other resorts. You can explore over 350Km of walking tracks and trails which wind through stunning alpine scenery that teems with wildlife. More on lake activities

Lift pass/h3>

A walking (and biking) lift pass is free with our holidays so you can use the gondola’s and chairlifts to reach high vantage points easily and cover many miles of beautiful rugged terrain.

Expect spectacular alpine scenery, glacier walks and itineraries from gentle family walks to adventurous hikes to the snow-line.

Weather to expect

Tignes is quite a southern resort and has one of the best sun shine records. The resort is situated around a large lake, its centre-point, which is used for watersports and relaxation.

Warm temps and lake activities with sun bathing prevail most days of the summer! Tignes gets a lot of sunshine due to its southern alpine location.

It also offers the largest variety of sporting activities in the entire Alps, and doorstep skiing on the glacier in the summer months.

The height of the glacier also means sun cream is a must!
