Ski & Board Hosting

For those that prefer to ski and board in company

What is Ski Hosting?

Social Ski Hosting allows skiers and boarders to join friendly ski groups suited to their ability and to get an insight into the resort’s best ski areas. It can help you avoid the lift queues and seek out the best restaurants for lunch or apres ski afterwards! It is a great way to meet other likeminded skiers and boarders and enjoy the mountain together.

We do not physically accompany guests on the mountain, but our hosts and Reps will be on hand from the moment you arrive to answer any questions you may have, and once in resort they will help you with pre-booked lift passes and fast-track you as best they can through the ski shops.

In the mornings our Winter Hosts will help you connect with other hotel or chalet-hotel clients for you to ski or board with. They will direct ski groups towards the best ski areas and snow conditions of the day, but please remember that their advice is unqualified and must be treated as such. If you would like a professional mountain guide these can be arranged for an additional supplement in resort.

Our Winter Hosts will arrange lunch stops so that groups can meet up, (if they wish), and socialise together. In the evenings our Hosts will never be far from a chalet or hotel bar or on hand to arrange social drinks and chat about the day's skiing or boarding.

Please ask for details of our Social Skiing service on arrival at reception.

Alpine Elements 'On the Snow' service

If you have booked your ski extras through us, then you’ll find our On the Snow service very convenient. Our winter hosts are on hand from the moment you arrive to ensure your ski hire, lessons and lift passes are taken care of, and that the skiing and boarding elements of your week run like clockwork. Our Snow Reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and bring them to your chalet or hotel.

They will also help fast-track you through the ski shops as best they can and help coordinate and get you to any ski or board lessons you have pre-booked with us.

Terms

You accept that our Social Skiing service is not a guiding service, nor does it attempt to provide qualified advice of where to ski or with whom to ski, in regard to your level of ability. Social Skiing is merely a service to connect clients wishing to ski in company, and to recommend lunchtime and apres-ski ‘meet-ups’.

After making a connection with other clients, you must decide on your ability to ski with the group. Please do not ask our staff for any advice on where to ski, or which pistes to use. Any advice that they give is unqualified, they are not professionally trained mountain guides. Nothing in these terms will seek to change our standard ‘Legal Company Terms & Conditions’, as displayed online.
