What's New For 2024?

After such an amazing summer in 2023 and fantastic feedback from our large and loyal following of guests, we’ve finalised our plans for summer ‘24 and they’re shaping up nicely!

Summer ‘24 will see even more value for active families and alpinists with a new hotel and improvements to our Active Kids Clubs. Demand is strong so don’t leave it too long to reserve your holiday and benefit from our Exclusive Earlybird Package which comes with an extra 10% discount as well as more free activities - just for booking early. Offer will end soon.

Hotel Christiania: New Hotel, Low Introductory Price!

The Christiania is back! We are proud to have an old fave of ours back for summer ‘24 and being offered at a great ‘Intro Price’ for the first 100 bookers.

We run the Christy as a warm and welcoming hotel for mountain-loving Brits and active families in summer, but as an MTB Centre it has a few extra touches for the bikers among you! Located in the centre of Les Gets, a buzzing family resort with the best bike terrain in the Portes du Soleil on our doorstep.

Free Activities for 2024

Our Free Active Packs will be upgraded for 2024 with even more ‘free activities’ included, especially for early bookers. In response to guest feedback, we will be improving our free paddleboard / kayak activity and our free ‘Cascades’ adventure park activity.

Whitewater rafting continues to be very popular and will remain unchanged, but by popular demand we are also bringing back our free professionally guided walks or hikes - so you can experience the Alps in company. Our fleet of mountain bikes will be having a full rebuild with new bikes being phased into the programme.

Our Active Team

Providing a great place to stay with activities is only part of our winning formula! We've employed a team of fun, energetic and creative individuals, (our staff!), and given them the training they need to make an active holiday happen.

Our Active Team plays an important role in your holiday. They have a local knowledge of the finest walking and biking trails and the best activities for your needs. They will give you Route Cards and itineraries for a great day-out; and tips and advice so you make the most out of your time in the Alps!

Our Active Team

Professionally Guided Walks & Hikes

Back by popular demand are our professionally guided walks and hikes for summer 2024. You will have the chance to join a sociable walk, led by a professional mountain guide in groups of 12 or so guests. Choose between two walks: Our Discovery Walk or our Adventure Hike, which are both suited to families.

Walks will run for a half day (4+ hrs) and make use of the lift system and your free lift pass, so you can experience the Alps with some local knowledge.

Our Free-Use Bikes 2024

We will be upgrading, rebuilding and refreshing our fleet of mountain bikes for 2024. As always, hotel guests can grab a bike from our racks each day with very few limitations on availability. We have lots of bikes to go around!

Chalet guests get a free bike upgrade, worth £79 which is essentially our ‘Reserve a Bike’ option thrown in for free. This enables chalet guests to take their bike away to their chalet and not have to pick up and drop off at hotel bike depots each day.

Bikes will help all our guests get around more easily; and in the Alps, one thing you’ll need is a good quality mountain bike to ride!

Active Clubs for 4 to 12 year olds

We’ve spent almost two decades perfecting our Kids’ Club and with fresh feedback from our summer 2023 guests - we are going to make a further enhancement for 2024.

Simply speaking, we are going to lengthen sessions so that parents can get more time to enjoy an activity for themselves. We will therefore offer four 3-4 hour sessions per week and a Family Fun day on the fifth day. More focussed sessions are our trademark - so kids aren’t bored and parents get to spend time with them too. After all, we think that a holiday to the Alps should be spent enjoying the activities with your kids (at least some of the time!) and not always without them.

Complimentary Transfers

We no longer sell holiday packages with flights included. Instead, we offer free return airport transfers to Geneva so you can book your own flights from your favourite UK airport. Or choose to self drive and make the savings there.

This way, you don't have to commit to a Gatwick charter flight leaving at 6am on a Saturday and you can benefit from some savings by booking your flights early using the low-cost airlines that serve Geneva.
