La Plagne is a firm favourite for family skiers and those that like High Altitude slopes and extensive skiing! The new link to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express (a €12 million Cable Car) has created a huge ski area and opened up more high quality terrain suited to all levels.
The snow sure nature of La Plagne is helped by the glacier skiing at Plagne Bellecôte, which extends up to 3250 metres. From here you will find an up to 2000m vertical drop, with some Black and Red slopes together with a seemingly endless supply of powder, and some of the longest descents in France. See our La Plagne Chalets.
Our Chalets in La Plagne are mostly ski to door or very close to the slopes. They are also just a short, easy ski to the ski school meeting points - so convenient skiing is definitely something which guests can look forward too.
With over 450 kms of pisted runs, the Paradiski offers an almost unrivalled amount of excellent, well kept ski slopes that span
over 10 villages, and will allow skiers to cover a huge amount of mileage withut having to do the same runs over and over again! The terrain is suited to all ages and levels of skier and snowboarder from beginner to advanced.
This is a true all rounders resort and whether beginner or progressive beginner you will find a huge number of well linked green and blue trails to cut your teeth on. All slopes run close to our chalets so you won't have to walk too far and beginners can easily have access to ski most of the resort without the need for drag lifts! English speaking instructors and good quality snow schools are all part of the local landscape in this very well facilitated resort.
Snowboarders will love the long powder descents from the summit of the Glacier "Plagne Bellecôte". The resort is well featured with lots of natural terrain - humps, gulleys, natural half pipes and long sweeping runs . La Plagne is perfect for all levels of boarder, and the snow park is not too intimidating and full of beginner and intermediate jumps to try.
