The Caroline is a truly beautiful ski chalet, offering more premium facilities than you’ll find in most chalets — including a hot tub, steam room and sauna and panoramic views of the slopes from its luxurious living area. Its doorstep location gives you instant access to some of the best skiing in Tignes, with terrain for every level.
Tignes 1550 (formerly Les Brévières) is a favourite for guests who want direct access to the best high-altitude slopes in Tignes, paired with the cosy charm of a traditional mountain village — a world away from the high-rise, purpose built feel of Tignes Le Lac, yet with all the convenience of fast lift access.
Getting on the slopes couldn’t be easier. It’s just a 150–200m stroll to the elevator lift, which takes you straight down to the 8-person gondola and the free beginners’ ski lift. Confident skiers can even ski down off-piste instead of taking the lift (ungroomed and at your own risk).
From the gondola you have seamless access to Tignes Le Lac and the full Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area. The ski back home is one of the best in Tignes, with the legendary La Sache descent — one of the finest runs in the Espace Killy — right on your doorstep.
Tignes 1550 is also one of the few treelined areas in the region, making it the ‘go-to’ place on a snowy day.

Sleeping up to 15 guests in eight en-suite bedrooms. For private bookings, this chalet comes with group free spaces. The ground floor features a heated boot dryer and a wellness suite with sauna and hammam.
Up on the top floor, the spacious living–dining area offers an open fireplace, pool table and a sunny balcony with hot tub — all with panoramic views across Tignes and its surrounding peaks.
