THE CHALET
Chalet Well is a traditional chocolate-box style ski chalet designed by a Swiss architect, which commands an enviable location, whilst offering an excellent quality of accommodation for Morzine and benefits from a new, superior, Hot Tub. The chalet is just one hour from Geneva airport and in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, which offers 650 kms of pisted ski runs over 12 alpine villages.
Well is a ski chalet with beamed ceilings, ensuite bedrooms, a log fire and a lovely rustic interior. The chalet is quite a grand property with a high cathedral-ceiling in the dining room. The dining room leads out onto a sun terrace which affords spectacular views of the mountains of Morzine and Avoriaz.
There are two lounges - a quiet galleried comfy-lounge with Tv dvd, and a second lounge downstairs for après ski drinks! The chalet was fully renovated in 2005, so the internal décor is modern and very comfortable, mixed with Savoyard charm. Most bedrooms have ensuite facilities and some have balconies with lovely views.
LOCATION
The chalet enjoys a great location in Morzine with views of the valley and mountains. The resort central areas are 700 metres away. The ski slopes are walkable but a short Navette ride will take you there in two minutes. Shuttles run at very regular intervals (e.g. every 20 mins peak season) and stop right outside the chalet for great ski convenience! This chalet is great for ski weekends, being around one hour from Geneva Airport.
