THE CHALET
Situated next to the Nyon ski lift, the all new Chalet “Nyon” is now a Premium Plus ski chalet which has just had an extensive refurbishment over summer 2011. This very popular chalet benefits from a hot tub, almost ski to door location and spectacular views up into the Vallee de la Manche.
The chalet was fully refurbished in Summer 2011 and boasts a clean and modern interior mixed with cosy Savoyard charm. Expect our Premium cuisine, wonderful views from the balconies and a beautiful open hearth with many luxurious chalet features. Most bedrooms are ensuite and the balconies of the chalet look out over the forest of Nyon through which the nearby ski slopes wind their way downhill.
LOCATION
The Chalet Nyon sits next door to the Gondola lift that accesses the excellent skiing up at Point Nyon. The ski slopes of Nyon almost run back to the chalet (within 70 metres). From the Nyon Gondola guests can easily ski around the whole of the Morzine and Les Gets sectors, whilst avoiding the crowds on peak dates. Pointe Nyon is one of the best peaks in the whole Portes du Soleil, and offers excellent snow on its north facing slopes. The home run back to the chalet is one of the best in resort and will offer fast cruising blue runs for all abilities.
The town centre is about a 900 metre (15 min) walk from the chalet, however a free shuttle stops outside the chalet to access the centre in a couple of minutes. This is primarily a chalet for skiers and boarders wanting route-one access to some of the finest ski slopes in the Portes du Soleil.
INCLUDES:
Beginner and Intermediate ski lessons are accessed via the free shuttle bus that stops outside the chalet for a short ride to the Pleney. Or at the top of the lift next door to the chalet, subject to the ski schools requirements.
