Tignes summer activities

If you fancy the pure rush of riding a full suspension bike on REAL mountain terrain, then let us help you get started this summer. Beginner or expert, we'll get your pulse racing with our Pro Mountain bike hire packages.

E-bikes are available to rent in all resorts and our Active Team will hook you up with one. They enable you to ride up any hill with ease and without a lift pass - to explore hidden terrain.

Whitewater rafting will have you grinning from ear to ear and is a social high point of the week. We organise it as a group excursion with your fellow hotel guests and the rapids near Tignes are some of the best in the Alps.

Tignes and Val d’Isère offer almost 350Km’s of trails which are free to access on the (also free) lift pass. Spectacular walks in amongst stunning scenery and wildlife of the Vanoise national Park.

Grab a set of Nordic walking poles from our hotel receptions (free to use) and armed with your (free) lift pass you can explore the many high altitude trails. Walking with poles not only propels you along but offers a core body work-out, working the upper body too.

All our resorts have Adventure Parks. Move between the trees on zip wires, rope bridges, cargo nets and more. Adult and child-level parks available.

In all resorts, we offer a FREE pedestrian Lift pass. Tignes and Val D’ have a free bikers lift pass too!...Use your lift pass to explore miles of mountain terrain, and to reach high vantage points easily. Visit the mountain restaurants, the food and vistas are excellent!

Excellent 18 hole and 9 hole courses offer stunning views and great golf.

Try excellent bike facilities like obstacle courses and pump tracks which are FREE to use. Great for families and bikers wanting to practice in a safe environment.

This fast-paced water slide really scores high on the silliness scale! Hurtle down a steep slide and fly off the lip and into the lake. Free for Tignes.

Rock Climbing in the Alps is a magical experience and everyone loves abseiling! Our Active Team will organise sociable groups you can join with other guests.

A popular variation on climbing, Via Ferrata are high mountain routes with fixed climbing aids, led by an instructor. Our Active Team will organise sociable groups you can join with other guests.

Tignes has Europe's highest and best glacier for skiing and boarding - open from June to mid August. Up to 25 Km of piste and even powder-snow in June! If you need lessons (beginner to expert) or ski / board hire, our Active Reps will help you get organised.

Mountain boarding is lots of fun using the lift system to cover miles and get to higher altitude trails. Experts will have tracks, jumps to use and beginners will enjoy the easier courses.

A new generation of treasure hunt using a GPS. Go in search of hidden treasures on the hiking trails, in caves, on summits, and spot the wildlife. Great social half day activity for all ages!

Walk on water (WoW) balls allow you to do the impossibl... walking on water! These giant sized Water balls are akin to Zorbing on the lake… great fun! In Tignes only. From €20 p/per.

Most resorts have a FREE to use bikers airbag, and is great for learning new trick. Now everyone can practice those front flips, spins and rockets with a feeling of... err... safety!

Skate parks are open for all ages for bikers, scooters and boards. Quarter pipe, ramps, fun boxes and rails. FREE to use.

Model racing provides a fun and family-friendy activity for all to enjoy! From very low cost, Tigne sonly €5-7 per go.

An alternative to Whitewater rafting, except ‘riders’ descend the rapids on a beefed up body board, rather like a floating toboggan. Learn to surf the swells, ride the rocks and perform 360 spins.
