Come and find out why paddleboarding is the fastest growing water sport in the world right now. The sensation of gliding on water is hard to beat with this easy to pick up, fun sport for all ages.
Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs) are fun for all abilities and are surprisingly easy to pick up and get started on. SUP’s are perfect to use in the warm, clear waters that front our Beach Clubs and provide a calming sensation of almost “walking on water”. We often use SUP’s with our beach fitness sessions, yoga and sociable paddle cruises, and SUP’s also help us create some great Kids Clubs activities.
An addictive pastime
Many of our guests can’t explain why they get so addicted to this sport. For some it’s the pure feel good factor they get from a core workout. For others it’s the thrill of exploring from a new perspective, learning a cool new sport or paddling for fitness.
Instruction and Guiding
In all resorts we offer sunrise SUP sessions to start the day in style, cruising around the bay with an instructor as your guide. For those who haven’t tried SUP before, our beginner clinics will teach you paddle technique, tips and manoeuvres to help you make the most from your time on the water. We also use SUPs for our sociable paddle cruises which run at least twice a week and are a fantastic way to explore beyond our normal water sports area.
A great selection of boards
Our boards are offered free for our guests to use. We have a great selection of the latest paddle boards from leading brands Starboard and Red Paddle for you to play on, get hooked and go home with a new skill mastered. These boards are stable, forgiving and easy to use for all ages.
New for 2016, try out the Ride XL ‘Giant SUP’ for plenty of fun with friends and family. We have a big range of boards and more importantly, the right variety to get you on the water and enjoying this fantastic sport.
Try our Paddle Cruises
Our paddle cruises are extremely popular and great fun for everyone or all ages! An organised excursion utilising SUP’s and Kayaks with a Support boat on hand to guide the Paddle Fleet to a mid-way stop-over such as a secluded bay or beach for swimming and snorkelling, coffee and icecream or perhaps a spot of lunch.
If you are not a confident paddler, the Support boat instructor will provide tips along the way, or you may like to participate in a SUP Clinic to build your confidence beforehand.
