Cover
Skiing and Snowboarding require a special type of hazardous sports cover. However apart from standard travel & medical cover for skiers, you must consider the importance of off-piste, backcountry, heli rescue, and repatriation cover which can be very expensive.
Cancellation Cover
Also important is cover for cancellation / curtailment in which you can claim for losses after having paid out for your holiday if you have to cancel - so long as it was not just a change of heart!. Subj to insurers terms.
Tried & Tested
Our policy is tried and tested for our clients and covers all of these benefits. We would advise you either take our policy or source another of comparable benefit. (See schedule below)

Our policies suit most of our client’s requirements, however please research our cover, (and any self sourced cover), fully. Satisfy yourself that it will suit all of your individual needs. It is our client’s responsibility to check that they are fully covered. We offer our policy and any guidance in good faith, but naturally we cannot guarantee that it will cover against every eventuality. All our guests must be covered by suitable insurance for their holiday, any guests found not to have suitable cover on arrival in resort will be required to take up one of our policies immediately and on arrival in resort, (and where possible).

Automatic Cover
We will automatically book you and each member of your party a Standard policy (as below) unless you provide details of your own cover in the Special Requests box on the booking form. This will ensure that you are covered from the date you make your first deposit payment. (This is not included in the price of the holiday but charged and invoiced in addition)
For our Family & Couple cover, please indicate which members of the group are to go onto our Family or Couple policy using the Special Requests box on the Booking Form. You may also upgrade to our Premier cover using the booking form. You will not be covered until the premium / deposit has been paid.
Refusing Cover
You will have 14 days to refuse cover. We can only accept policy cancellations by email to admin@alpineelements.co.uk, (please do not phone). Clients must reference their group leader surname or “A0” holiday reference number and state which policies are to be cancelled and for whom. After this 14 day period, all policies are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Responsibility
You are required to take all reasonable care to protect yourself and your property and to act as though you are insured. Please be sure you tell us or your insurers about anything which may affect your cover, including any pre-existing health and medical conditions. It is our client’s responsibility to check their policy documents for accuracy. It must be said that our policies suit most of our client’s needs, however please research our cover fully to ensure that it will suit all of your individual needs. It is our client’s responsibility to check that they are fully covered for all requirements and eventualities of their trip. We can only offer our policy in good faith, but we cannot guarantee that it will cover against every eventuality.
