We offer unbeatable value active sports & Mountain Biking Travel & Medical Holiday insurance

We require all our guests to take one of our active holiday insurance policies. Alternatively you may source your own so long as it has comparable or greater cover. (Scroll down for policy schedule)

Mountain Bike & Active Sports
Active & Mountain Sports require a very special insurance cover. You need to be very sure that if you are self sourcing a policy, all hazardous pursuits are covered. Be very specific to the insurance provider about the sort of hazardous activities which you will be partaking. For Mountain Biking you need to ensure you are covered for what we call “Extreme Terrain” Mtn Biking. If in doubt then simply order one of our policies. Most of the activities we offer are covered on our policy. However please check to see that it suits your own needs.

All our guests must be covered by suitable insurance for their holiday, any guests found not to have suitable cover on arrival in resort will be required to take up one of our policies immediately and on arrival in resort, (and where possible).

How to Book
When you book a holiday with us you will be automatically covered by our standard £25 policy on payment of your holiday deposit/insurance premium. However you may refuse cover on booking your holiday if you have your own policy (see below).

If you do not have cover and would like to add it to your holiday invoice please email us on admin@alpineelements.co.uk stating your group leader name, your name, type of cover and age.

Our policies
Our policies are very comprehensive and cover a lot of special needs such as Off Piste ski and boarding, Helicopter rescue, medical, mountain rescue, cancellation and repatriation. Ensure that your policy (if self sourced) covers you for all of these and more.

Cover for Holiday Cancellation
Our policies also cover against cancellation, so if you do have the unfortunate luck to have to cancel your holiday after having paid out for it, (so long as it was not just a change of heart) you will more than likely be able to recoup any lost monies through the insurance provider, (dependent on conditions of policy).

Automatic Cover
We will automatically book you and each member of your party a Standard policy (as below) unless you provide details of your own cover in the Special Requests box on the booking form. This will ensure that you are covered from the date you make your first deposit payment.

For our Family & Couple cover, please indicate which members of the group are to go onto our Family or Couple policy using the Special Requests box on the Booking Form. You may also upgrade to our Premier cover using the booking form. You will not be covered until the premium / deposit has been paid.

Refusing Cover
You will have 14 days to refuse cover. We can only accept policy cancellations by email to admin@alpineelements.co.uk, (please do not phone). Clients must reference their group leader surname or “A0” holiday reference number and state which policies are to be cancelled and for whom. After this 14 day period, all policies are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Responsibility
You are required to take all reasonable care to protect yourself and your property and to act as though you are insured. Please be sure you tell us or your insurers about anything which may affect your cover, including any pre-existing health and medical conditions. It is our client’s responsibility to check their policy documents for accuracy. It must be said that our policies suit most of our client’s needs, however please research our cover fully to ensure that it will suit all of your individual needs. It is our client’s responsibility to check that they are fully covered for all requirements and eventualities of their trip. We can only offer our policy in good faith, but we cannot guarantee that it will cover against every eventuality.
