You will need a few Extras for your ski or board holiday, but don’t wait until arrival in resort, instead buy before you go at our fixed prices in pounds and you can potentially save yourself quite a bit of money!

Pre-booking not only helps you budget and fix a price before you go, but it also ensures you don’t have to wait in long lift pass queues or traipse around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire. And remember if you can find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, we will not only price-match but beat it hands down!


How to book:

All our Extras can be booked on-line or over the phone with our sales team, so don’t forget to add them on. If you’re a family or group booker and uncertain about the best deals available for you -   then just call us to work out what the best deals are. 


 

Ski & Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or boards, then you’re going to need to rent some! Fortunately, the standard of rental skis is very good nowadays and we work with the best suppliers so your kit will be perfectly suited and set up for your skiing and you can go back and make changes as needed.

Our shops are also conveniently located to our properties, so you won’t waste time traipsing over resort looking for your shop. We can also help fast track our guests in busy periods, and use our influence to help you get sorted.

  • Often we get priority as a Tour Op, which can make fitting quicker

  • We can help you make changes to skis or boards throughout the week.

  • If you self-buy your own hire then you could be trudging to the other end of the resort to get kit fitted or changed…

Lift Passes 

Lift passes are the one essential Extra to any ski holiday. So avoid a long walk or lift pass queue on arrival to collect your passes and pre-book through us before you leave. We deliver lift passes to you for your first day on the slopes. Pre-booking also ensures you fix a price in pounds.

An extra half day!
For some of our resorts, it is often possible to get an extra afternoon skiing on arrival day due to the early departure of our Sunday flights. For extra half day passes, we advise booking these on arrival with our reps, or directly with the lift office. Whether you choose to ski on arrival day or not, do still pre-book you standard 6 day (1 week) pass with us to save time and hassle in resort.

Ski & Board Lessons

Everyone can benefit from some ski or board lessons and our 5-day programme of beginner to expert lessons with one day “free skiing” is a trusted formula we have been using for the last 20 years. One that has been found to have had the most profound improvement and positive feedback from guests.

We carefully select our schools and make sure they provide great service and English speaking instructors with a range of lessons to cater for all abilities.

Booking and availability:
To help assure availability then we always recommend pre-booking lessons as soon as possible, especially in peak periods.

 

  • Pre-book our 5-day lesson packages. Don’t leave it to resort!
  • Lessons are very useful for everyone, not just the beginners!
  • We use ‘tried and tested’ schools, so we can make sure they perform well.
  • English speaking instructors and all abilities covered.
  • For our Lessons, we know where our ski school meeting points are, so we can help you get orientated more quickly and ensure you get to your lesson on time, by foot or Navette.

Ski & Pack Bundles 

If you want lessons, lift pass and equipment hire then we can package it all up in one bundle to save you some money! Furthermore, we will be able to have it all ready for your arrival and save you the hassle of buying your lift pass from the lift office, trudging around looking for your ski school meeting points, or looking for your ski hire shop! All these things can be made easier by pre-booking before departure and as soon as possible to guarantee lesson availability.

Ski & Board Package includes:

• 5 half days beginner, intermediate or advanced lessons (2.5-3hrs/day).

• 6 days Lift pass (Local or Full Area Pass)

• 6 days Economy, Discovery or Performance skis with poles and with or without boots

• Or 6 days Discovery snowboard hire with or without boots

• Our Alpine Elements On the Snow service to help you get set up, started and oriented around resort.

Our 'On The Snow' Service

Alpine Elements Ski hosts and reps will be on hand from the moment you arrive (and on the transfer) to answer any questions you may have.

Once in resort our reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them on the morning of your first day’s skiing. They will also endeavour to fast-track you as best they can through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can. Our reps will also help with any Equipment changes or lift pass problems, as well as help and assistance for ski and board lessons which use our specially selected suppliers.

We will also provide lessons-support and information in resort because we know that it’s never as easy as it appears! Please remember that this service can only apply to ski-extras booked with us!

 


 

Ski & Board Carriage 

If you have your own skis or board, we recommend pre-booking carriage as places are strictly limited on flights. It also works out cheaper to pre-book rather than wait until you get to the airport… Simply add the Extra when booking over the phone or online, or use your Client Area after booking.

Remember that dimensions and weight allowances of the carriage can vary between airlines, so it's best to check with us before you book.

Winter Sports Insurance

Getting the right travel and medical insurance can be a tricky business, especially if you plan on enjoying sports like skiing, snowboarding, white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, windsurfing or sailing to name but a few!

We’ve partnered with Endsleigh to develop a policy that is specifically designed for our holidays and the activities we do.

Taking out a policy at the time of booking your trip is also a really good idea to cover for any unforeseen holiday cancellation you have to make.

Airport Parking 

If you’re planning to drive to the airport then remember to pre-book your parking to ensure you get the best savings compared to paying on arrival.

We’ve partnered with APH to provide discounted rates on a full level of parking options for all budgets from ‘Meet & Greet’ to ‘Long Stay’.

Cancellations & Charges to Extras

For Ski & Board hire & Lift pass:

We don’t charge for cancellations or amendments to lift passes or ski and board hire right up until two weeks prior to departure, so you can change your mind as often as you like! If you wish to completely cancel an order within two weeks prior to departure there is an admin fee of £30 per person, or per equipment pack / lift pass. However if you wish to upgrade the order to a superior equipment pack or lift pass there will be no charge.

 

For Ski Lessons & Childcare

Quite a lot of work has to go into sourcing lessons and childcare for our clients and third party suppliers often ask for deposits. Therefore we may have to charge for cancellations and amendments made at any time, as well as our standard admin fee. 

 

Payments

All Ski Extras can be added to your booking without any deposit or pre-payment necessary. We will simply ask that you settle the balance with us by your final holiday balance due date which is normally 10 to 12 weeks before departure, or sooner for bookings made within this period. Some lessons and childcare providers may need a deposit on reservation. See our terms for credit/debit card fees and ways to pay.

How to Book Extras

We always advise pre-booking your Ski Extras with us so that we can take care of you in resort under our 'On the Snow' programme which will help us to endeavour to make things faster and more efficient for you on arrival in resort. More about our ‘On The Snow’ service

On-line or over the phone

All our Ski Extras can be booked on-line with your initial holiday reservation or over the phone with our sales team, so don’t forget to add them on. If you’re a family or group booker and uncertain about the best deals available for you - then just call us to work out what the best deals are.

By email

If you have already booked you can add Extras via your Client Area or by sending an email to extras@alpineelements.co.uk. On adding Extras to your Client Area or as a request by email we will send you a confirmation invoice asking for payment later. Payments normally align with holiday balance due dates, see our payment dates below.

If you've already booked

Then simply go to your Client Area and add your ski extras to your booking under each passenger name. Do share the link to our client area and allow your party members to access and order their own ski hire. You will not have to pay anything at that stage, but all orders are taken
