About Chalet Moulin Rouge

A luxury ski holiday doesn’t get much better than this! The Chalet Moulin are three gorgeous ski chalets, each one for eight people with four en-suite bedrooms; and each with its own hot tub and a beautifully styled interior designed by leading chalet developer, Duc Blanc.

The chalet is clad in old-antique wood, specially bought in from Scandinavia, but mixes it up with a thoroughly modern set of furnishings, entertainments and the all-important Wi-Fi. Stunning views from its balconies and a great ski-location provide the atmosphere, whilst opulently styled bedrooms, a hot tub bubbling away on the sun deck and our menus provide the detail.

Its location is to die for! A skiing nirvana! At only 2 mins walk to the slopes and lifts, a 100-metre stagger from a great apres ski bar and (almost) at the foot of one of the best homeruns in resort. We love this chalet for its pure ski-convenience, and the fact you’ll be first up to the heart of the best skiing and boarding on a powder day!

The Moulin chalets are a stones’ throw from the one of the best ski slopes in resort, and without a doubt the best homerun!

The ultra-modern ‘Perriers Express’ chairlift is just 2-3 mins’ walk from the doorstep and will whisk you straight up to the best skiing in the area, with the added benefit that you won’t succumb to the queues of the [older] town-centre lifts.

There’s a great apres-ski bar just a few footsteps from the chalet and there’s also a well-stocked ski-shop for rentals and equipment sales. It’s about 8-10 mins walk (about 750m) to the resort central areas where you’ll find lots more bars, shops and restaurants for staff night off.

For ski school then hop on the free shuttle bus which stops very close to the chalet and takes you to the centre in a few minutes.

Eat, drink and go skiing

The only thing we enjoy as much as fresh powder is freshly-cooked food at the end of a day on the slopes. You can expect the very best from our highly-trained chefs, because we know that eating and drinking well are essential parts of any ski holiday.

Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions, served up by your Venture team. Freshly-cooked bacon and eggs to set you up for the day or mouth-watering continental options if you’d prefer, with a slap-up continental breakfast brought in on the staff’s day off.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes, which you’ll be able to tuck into on five days of your stay. Each of our chalets has its own Nespresso machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with pre-dinner drinks and canapés as part of a delicious five-course menu, accompanied by free-flowing excellent wines until dessert, followed by a cheese board and port as your fifth course. All this is served on six nights of your stay, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants on the staff's night off.

  • Bubbly reception and canapés on arrival night
  • Breakfast each day (7 days) with hot options most days
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Pre-dinner drinks and canapés
  • Our five course evening meals (6 nights)
  • Specially selected red & white wines with dinner, unlimited until dessert.
  • After dinner coffee, cheese board and Port
  • Fresh fruit bowl throughout your stay
  • Bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

Book Smart and Save Money

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
