Ski Hotel Catering

If you’ve ever whooshed back to your hotel, famished from an afternoon of breathless Alpine carving, you’ll know how important your food and drink is when you’re living on a mountain. It’s something we take as seriously as the snow.

We’re true foodies at heart, so you can expect great things in the kitchen from your hotel chefs. If you’ve ever stayed with us before you’ll know that we pride ourselves on our top-notch food and service, and we love to get praise from happy, well-fed guests at the end of each week.

Our Brilliant Hotel Staff

We hand-pick and train our staff thoroughly before each season, so we’re sure they’ll deliver cooking you’ll love. A lot of thought goes into our menus and every season we review our menus based on what our guests tell us. We’ll always make sure we’re keeping up with the latest food trends to make sure we keep hungry skiers happy by ensuring each meal is packed with healthy, hearty, high-quality stuff.

More about our Staff

Breakfast (hotels)

Start your day the right way with a breakfast fit for a (snow) king or queen. We serve a hearty  continental selection with cooked options (3 days a week) that will set you up perfectly for a day on the mountain. You can expect cereals, porridge, preserves, French pastries, (croissants, pain au chocolat), breads, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices and tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Our cooked options will include things like bacon rolls or  eggs, bacon sausages and beans.

Hungry yet? Thought so.

Afternoon Tea

Life is full of simple pleasures. We’re firmly of the belief that one of those is coming back at the end of the day after some hard yards on the slopes, to be met by the smell of freshly-baked cake wafting around the hotel. We serve cake (or home-made biscuits) each afternoon except on the staff day off. So you can unwind, take your boots off and grab a sofa with a cuppa and a slice of cake.

Evening Meal

Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked three-course meal, à la carte, from our excellent hotel chefs. We’ll make sure you’re well-fed and watered, with plenty of healthy, hearty food to satisfy the hungriest skier and refuel the most ravenous of snowboarders. We love to get praise from happy, well fed guests!

Children’s Tea

In chalets and chalet hotels with families, you may request an earlier kid's mealtime, (on arrival), with our chalet hosts. They’ll do their best to lay on a healthy menu for the under-13s to suit their tastes. We’ll happily provide puréed food for toddlers if you also let us know. We serve tea at around 5.30pm, and children don’t join dinner later that evening so that grown-ups can enjoy an hour or two of child-free time.

Vegetarian and Special diets

We cater for vegetarians and other special diets, with some delicious recipes in all our chalets and hotels. Please tell us if anyone in your party has a dietary requirement in good time before you travel (at least 14 days) so that our staff can make sure they’ve got something tasty ready! Supplements from £30pp will apply to special dietary requests, except Vegetarian for which there is no charge.

Join us for Christmas or New Year

If you’re dreaming of a White Christmas (and you’re tired of it never happening in the UK!) then nothing beats a festive break in a winter wonderland of beautifully-decorated chalets and hotels.

On Christmas Day enjoy a special celebratory breakfast. When you get back in from a festive day on the slopes, you can look forward to afternoon tea with mince pies and mulled wine before we serve our special Christmas and New Year’s day menus (complete with all the trimmings) and a celebratory glass of bubbles.

Then enjoy the resort’s own festivities, the Christmas parades and firework displays to celebrate Christmas with your kids, or see in the New Year in style. Each resort does Christmas festivities in its own way, but we love them all at this time of year!

Our à la carte hotel menu

We like to feed you well at our hotels. It’s why some of our hotels offer à la carte catering with three choices of starter, main and dessert each evening. Some of our smaller hotels offer a three-course set-menu which will be a variation of the above menu. We can also cater for vegetarian and special diets, as long as you let us know beforehand via the Special Requests section within ‘Manage My Holiday’ in your Client Area, (at the top of the website).
