Location

Chalet Napoleon is a modern alpine chalet and part of an exclusive development of chalets in the original old town of Tignes Les Brévierès: A very pretty village, which contrasts with Tignes’ high rise architecture, for those of you who prefer the cheery atmosphere of a typical 'chocolate box' alpine village.

Les Brévierès is by far the prettiest part of Tignes, with direct access to its extensive facilities. Although a relatively small village, Brévières has a variety of restaurants and bars.

On the chalet's lower terrace there is a hot tub with spectacular mountain views, shared with our adjoining chalet Josephine. An idyllic way to spend an afternoon or evening in some truly impressive surroundings.

About the resort

Our chalets are situated in the original 'old town' of Tignes: Tignes Les Brévierès. Brev' is by far the prettiest part of Tignes, and offers visitors all the major league facilities of the resort of Tignes, but from a prettier and more peaceful location!

You can ride or walk back to Brévierès via mountain bike or walking trails from central Tignes. It's a great downhill ride all the way!

To access the activities each day, we do recommend guests have a car to get to the main part of Tignes le lac or the glacier skiing at Tignes. Tignes le lac is about a 20 minute drive up some beautiful winding Col roads.

Why Choose Chalet Napoleon?

Mountain bike and Cycle

For our Tignes guests we provide a free bikers lift pass which is a real bonus! This pass will access the full lift system and more than 350 Km’s of exciting bike trails spanning over into Val d’isere for Cross Country, Downhill and Free ride biking.

The lift pass covers the Bike parks, obstacle courses, Downhill tracks and Northshore.

Tignes provides a level of facilities and bike trails which are among the finest in Europe and we recommend that guests make best use of the trails and their lift pass with booking a Pro bike locally.

Walking and hiking

A walking (and biking) lift pass is free with our holidays so you can use the gondola’s and chairlifts to reach high vantage points easily and cover many miles of beautiful rugged terrain.

Expect spectacular alpine scenery, glacier walks and itineraries from gentle family walks to adventurous hikes to the snow-line.

Weather to expect

Tignes is quite a southern resort and has one of the best sun shine records. The resort is situated around a large lake, its centre-point, which is used for watersports and relaxation.

Warm temps and lake activities with sun bathing prevail most days of the summer!

Tignes gets a lot of sunshine due to its southern alpine location. It also offers the largest variety of sporting activities in the entire Alps, and doorstep skiing on the glacier in the summer months.

The height of the glacier also means sun cream is a must!
