Snowboarding Deals
The best snowboarding deals by way of resort are to Les Gets and Les Arcs. Two fantastic snowboarding destinations where cheaper resort facilities will save holiday makers up to £50 p/person over any one week on extras such as board hire, lessons etc
Late deals
This season will not see a flurry of late ski or snowboarding deals due to the fact most Tour Operators have significantly reduced their capacities, and of course duw to rising currency costs (Euro & Dollar).
Nevertheless Early Booker deals are always given away at this time of year in line with the same standard formula that is adopted by Tour Ops each year. Some of our best selling snowboarding deals that you are likely to see this season are highlighted above.
2011 Deals and Prices
The 2009/2010 recession in the UK may now be nearing an end but it is still causing most Tour Operators to adopt a careful policy with reduced capacity for 2011. There will be fewer ski and snowboard holiday packages available to British holiday makers, and therefore fewer deals.
Prices will also have to be increased for 2011 to deal with the rising cost of world currencies, most notably the Euro. Whilst Tour Ops couldn't increase their rates in 2009 to deal with the cost of currency, they will have to in 2010/2011 now that the so called green shoots of recovery are forming.
Indeed the future looks bleak for cheap ski or snowboarding deals. Whilst it may pay to wait for a last minute deal - the demand will again be huge for 2010/11.
Our advice is simply to book now. Early Bird Deals are being released by Tour Ops at present, which is inline with the deals-formula that is run by all Tour Ops each year – however these early booking deals may be the only significant ones on offer this season.
