Val Thorens is a high altitude snowboard resort, abundant with Ski in / Ski out accommodation and situated in the excellent 3 Valleys ski area. It is linked directly with Meribel and Courchevel.
Val Thorens is the highest of all the 3 Valleys snowboard resorts and offers excellent snow and and extensive skiing for families and all abilities.
Snowboarding in Val Thorens
Snowboarders are furnished with powder opportunities and excellent freeriding descents in Val Thorens. VT also offers beginner and advanced snowboarders an expanse of terrain that spans over the vast Three Valleys Ski area.
Skiing in Val Thorens
As one of the largest ski resorts in the world, the Three Valleys offers excellent skiing variety for all levels of skier and boarder. Long a wide descents with well linked skiing offers the skier excellent choice and high adventure, with unbeatable fresh and powder snow opportunities at altitude.
Beginner snowboarding in Val Thorens
Characteristically wide and well groomed slopes which are very accessible from the resort centre make Val Thorens ideal for beginners. A very good nursery area offers easy skiing and boarding to make the learning experience convenient and stress free!
Nightlife
Val Thorens is a popular destination for British and Scandinavian skiers. The bars and restaurants are very lively and convenient to get to from our chalets. The resort has a nice feel to it, because being situated at such high altitude - it is always resplendent in snow!
