To snowboard St Anton is to experience one of the finest resorts the world has to offer! ST ANTON APRES SKI

Something that the Austian resorts do very well is après-ski. The St Anton scene kicks off at 4pm on the slopes in famous bars such as the Mooserwirt and the Krazy Kangaruh. The drinking starts early and is always accompanied by loud beats, the thump of dancing ski boots and revellers ranging from the late teens to early 60's!

SNOWBOARDING IN ST ANTON

St Anton  is a bit of a mecca for seasonaires or ski bums which is a clear reflection of the excellent slopes and powder fields it has to offer, especially in the bowls below Valluga which are actually the best that Austria has to offer! The resort is linked to Lech, Zürs, Stüben and St Christoph and thus provides an extensive range of slopes for all abilities and many miles of well kept slopes will appeal to all. See St Anton resort report.

BEGINNERS AND INTERS

The gentle and wide lower slopes leading into St Anton Village and the Rendl ski area offer some great beginner skiing and boarding. The Kapallbahn Chairlift also takes beginners and inters up to 2,330 meters for an enjoyable, fun and long run back down to resort. Progressive beginners can take the Gampenbahn Chair to the Gampen ski area for immediate access to a great variety of more gentle slopes. Not only will you find some of the best advanced terrain in Austria - but heaps of beginner riding and fun slopes with good powder snow opportunities too.
