Snowboarding in Les Gets

Les Gets has very good snowboard terrain for cruising around on and great facilities too. The Les Gets Snow park (photo on left) is very tame (compared to it’s big brother up at Avoriaz) and ideal for beginners with easier jumps and a very relaxed atmosphere. It is absolutely ideal for Snowboarders who are getting to grips with jumping and also progressing onto mid size jumps and hand rails.

Skiing in Les Gets

Les Gets offer some very good skiing in pretty surroundings. It is suitable to all levels and characteristic of wide motorway style skiing making general skiing and progress very easy for intermediate skiers and families. There are also some steeper more challenging runs and mogul fields up at Pointe de Nyon which happens to be one of the best descents in the whole Ported Du Soleil ski area.

Beginner snowboarding in Les Gets

Les Gets is renowned for its’ suitability to novice skiers and boarders. The atmosphere in the resort is very non-pressured and all the slopes are very easy to get to, which also makes it ideal for families. The ski and board school is very good and naturally English speaking. A good network of beginner trails extends over the resort and offers hassle free and easy skiing which ends up back at one base point and needs no drag lifts!

Nightlife

The Après-Ski and nightlife in Les Gets is surprisingly lively, and with about 16 decent bars and a nightclub, the resort will keep going into the early hours. There is also a good café culture for the not-so-hedonistic among you and of course great restaurants too.
