High Altitude Snowboarding holidays in a lively resort with a lovely chalet and good snow record!
Alpe D’huez is a Glacial snowboard resort with some very high altitude riding and boarding on the Glacier, offering some of the longest runs in Europe and descents that last for over 16 kilometres! The resort is renowned for getting a lot of sunshine as well as very good snow!
Snowboarding in Alpe dhuez
The Off Piste terrain in Alpe D’huez and off the Glacier is legendary! Glacier resorts always offer the best powder snow and the driest conditions for freeriding. The open powder fields at the summit open out into some of the most thrilling snowboarding which is suitable for all levels of rider.
There is a Snowboard Park with jumps of all sizes and often a pipe and Boarder Cross circuit to keep the Freestylers busy!
The resort offers excellent beginner facilities and a network of easy slopes all over the resort - not just restricted to the lower areas. This allows beginners to get going quickly and easily and feel a part of the action rather than being confined to the local slopes.
Alpe Dhuez nightlife is very varied and offers lots of bars with a very down to earth and "up for it" party atmosphere. There are also plenty of "less lively" establishments offering a more rounded apres ski too.
