There are many other things to do in a ski resort beside skiing and snowboarding!

Every resort that we feature offers a vibrant cafe culture, interesting sights and wonderful restaurant eating for the more sedate. If you would like to ease into something a little more active, then husky sleds, snow shoeing, or simply catching the Gondola lift up for a spot of lunch in a mountain restaurant is a great way to take in the beauty of the mountains!

We can help organise special activities for group and corporate trips, most of these activities cost extra but will add an unforgetable experience that can round off any holiday perfectly.

All these activities are very easily organinsed once out in resort, so please ask your holiday rep for more details on arrival.

Costs 

Typical cost of activities ranges from £3 per up lift in the Gondola to £25 for a Parapente flight and husky tows. Snow Shoeing is quite inexpensive and rental of some.

Snow Shoeing

Raquettes is from just £5 a day. A local tourist trail map will show snow walkers where the most scenic trails are to be found. Walkers will experience stunning views and alpine scenery.

Skidoo Driving

For the not-so-faint-hearted then Skidoo driving is the ultimate in snow thrills. Riders can drive their own skidoo around the ski slopes (after hours). It costs from £35 per hour.

Parapenting

This is one of the more popular activities and involves flying high up in the thermals with an instructor. Flights last for 15 minutes and take in some staggering views of the valley below. It is suitable for all ages.

Airplane and Heli Trips

Airplanes and Heli rides are also a popular past-time. Passengers can take in wonderful scenery and flights last for half an hour or more. Heli rides can be combined with luck to make a spectacular day out.
