We will be offering guests the chance to have a professional off piste guide to sample some real backcountry snow, for example the Vallee de la Manche in Morzine-Avoriaz or the world renowned Vallee Blanche of Chamonix.

A professional and certified mountain guide is an absolute necessity if you would like to gain a true insight into the deepest off piste potential of any resort or perhaps if you are at beginner or intermediate level with your off-piste riding, and want to try your first powder turns with a professional on hand to help.

Off Piste guiding can be a dangerous affair and this is why we do not authorise our company "reps" to fill in for the task as quite a lot of other Tour Operators do.

An Off Piste guide can be employed for one or more days of your week which is an ideal combination to help push your riding even if just for a day. The experience will teach you some new skills without being too over whelming. It will still allow guests the freedom to do their own thing on other days of the week.

Freeride Clinics

"Freeride" is a term used by Skiers and Snowboarders in order to label a new style of expressive riding. Freeride combines the 4 disciplines of Pipe, Park, Boarder Cross and Off Piste and riders will use all these skills out on the open and natural terrain.

If you would like a more intensive Freeride course designed to take in Off Piste riding and Freestyle, then we also run a Freeride course in association with an accredited local school in Chamonix, Tignes and Morzine to help push the intermediate and advanced rider or skier to a new level. (A benchmark Intemediate level is usually 3-5 weeks)

Example:
The Chamonix course runs over 4 days and at 3 hours a day, the experience is intense but not over powering and will allow you the feedom to do your own thing.

The course will take in all aspects ad disciplines of riding including the Pipe, Boarder X and Off Piste Freeriding with the 4th day spent descending the immense Vallee Blanche. Group are 8 max (7 Off Piste) and it is an 09.00am start every day.
