The Ski Chalet

A typically wooden, cosy and traditional ski chalet sitting under the impressive backdrop of craggy mountains that make up Avoriaz, and offering a tranquil but great location for the slopes! Small catered chalets like this are rare to come by and perfect for family or friends to take on private use.

This chalet is a basic quality property but the bedrooms have been given a cosmetic refurbishment. The chalet has many charming features and is very typically "Savoyard" and rustic in style.

It has 3 bedroom rooms - each of a good size, and a lounge/dining room with log burning fire place. This is a charming Bronze rated chalet with a cracking location just 150m from the slopes but with direct access to the excellent Avoriaz ski area and straight into the extensive skiing of the Portes du Soleil.

This is a true "skiers chalet" is ever there was one! It is located just 150 metres (if that) from one of the best runs in resort - the World Cup Downhill that links Avoriaz to the base of Les Prodains. A long home run which is ideal for progressive beginners and intermediates. The chalet is just 150m from the main Avoriaz cable car. Novice skiers have easy access to ski school and just take the cable car straight up to the nursery slopes.

The cable car opens to midnight for nightlife in Avoriaz or there are a few bars close to the chalet

Beginner and Intermediate ski lessons are accessed via the free shuttle bus that stops outside the chalet for a short ride to the Pleney. Or at the top of the lift next door to the chalet, subject to the ski schools requirements.
