Morzine offers huge variety, and the famous 70 km circuit gives the hardened skiers a busy and rewarding day! Naturally the resort caters for all abilities, especially the intermediate and beginner skiers who will find lots of fun and exciting terrain. Due to the size of resort, it is possible to ski or board all weekend long, and not do the same run twice!
Avoriaz was the first resort to embrace snowboarding back in the early 90's and since then the facilities have grown with the resort to offer a multitude of terrain parks (6 in total) and boarder cross tracks as well as half pipes too. In short, the resort has excellent facilities and appeals to all levels whether absolute beginner or seasoned pro!
The resorts suitability to beginners, and the range of inexpensive child facilities really stands Morzine out from the crowd. The variety of child facilities and ski gardens, as well as the large network of easy slopes for learning make Morzine a popular choice for all.
Morzine is one of the liveliest resorts in the alps, and has a wealth of bars and restaurants to suita all tastes. The local Savoyard cuisine in Morzine is excellent and whether you choose the Etale for pizza and steak or La Grange for something of the haute cuisine variety: Morzine has a wonderful ambiance that is hard to match in any ski resort.
