THE CHALET
The Wellington is a 10 bed Premium chalet in Tignes Les Brévières situated next door to the Waterloo. This chalet has the added benefit of a health club with pool, sauna and hot tub which is located about 100 metres away (up some steps).. The health centre also has a few gym machines and excercise bikes.
LOCATION
The chalet is located 250 metres, or a 3 ½ minute walk from the shops and bars. And just 100 metres away is a free carousel lift that will take you to the ski slopes in moments. It runs all day and evening, and is very easy to use. To walk to the slopes, then expect to take about 5 minutes if you feel that way inclined!
Les Brevieres is the original "old town" of Tignes and by far the prettiest part of Tignes which oozes charm and character. Something not often seen in high altitude ski resorts! Brevieres is the lowest part of Tignes but is still higher than most resorts at 1550 metres! The slopes go up much higher and some of the best sloipes in the Espace killy run right down into Brevieres, such as the famous Sache.
