An extensively refurbished ski-to-door chalet hotel with Sauna in the popular Austrian resort of St Anton, with a great location.
THE CHALET-HOTEL
The Alber is a spacious chalet-hotel with Sauna, offering an excellent standard of ski accommodation. Many of the rooms have been extensively refurbished (Summer 2011), and skiers can almost ski back to the chalet! A high speed Gondola lift is less than a 10 min walk or our Private Landrover Shuttle will whisk you there in moments. The town centre is also (approx) 10 mins walk.
Several rooms were re-fitted and decorated by the owner this summer (2011) to maximise comfort and convenience for our guests. You can expect bright and airy rooms with spacious interiors and a chalet-hotel which is of a very good overall standard.
The chalet has a very fresh and appealing decor in traditional Alpine style, with large comfortable family suites and bedrooms - all with ensuite bathrooms and cable TV. Most rooms will take an extra child bed (for a discount) and many will also take a cot.
The Alber has a very attractive dining-room and lounge, newly renovated and with plenty of seating, a TV, dvd, CD player, and access to a large, sunny south-facing balcony with mountain views.
CHALET LOCATION
Chalet Alber is located in Nasserein, the most family-friendly area of St Anton, about 10 mins from the lifts and 10-12 mins walk to the centre, however our Private Landrover shuttle will take you there in moments. The Chalet closest lift (10 mins walk) is a high-speed and normally queue-free gondola, which whisks you straight into the heart of the ski area at Gampen/Kapall, but if you dont fancy the walk or our Private shuttle, then the free ski-bus stops conveniently just 50-100m away.
