France has always been seen as the creme of European skiing, with resorts that are traditionally more expensive than its Italian or Swiss neighbours. Ski La Plagne
Another favourite among British skiers is the resort of La Plagne with its snow sure slopes and unrivalled variety. Well kept slopes and excellent ski schools are a testament to the quality of skiing in France.

Ski Les Arcs
Linked to neighbouring La Plagne, Les Arcs is a real all-rounder and France's 4th largest ski area (Paradiski). Perfect for all levels and family ski trips it is hard to find fault with this high altitude ski resort that gets great snow from early December to May. Ski Morzine
No listing for skiing in France would be complete without a reference to Morzine. Morzine is very traditional ski village that has grown from a farming community since the 1950's. The locals are very pleasant and the atmosphere family friendly with beautiful chalet style architecture, great restaurants and a wealth of excellent skiing. As part of the Portes du Soleil - Morzine offers 650 kms of skiing, the largest ski area in France and facilities for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers than will put most US resorts to shame.
