The Ski Chalet
Josephine and Napoleon are two Premium-rated chalets in Tignes Les Brévières, and are part of an exclusive new development of properties with direct access to high altitude skiing. Guests can use a private health club which is shared with the surrounding enclave of chalets, which includes a small indoor pool and sauna.
The chalets were finished over Winter 2005/06 to an excellent standard of build. In keeping with local architecture the chalets are built from natural wood and stone. Views from the chalet extend out over the lake, and the ski slopes of Tignes.
Each chalet (Josephine & Napoleon) takes 10 people, or 12 at a push! They are run as two completely separate chalets but can be opened up via a normally locked internal door to make one larger chalet for up to 24 people. Couples and small groups can join these chalets on a shared basis, or large groups can take one or both chalets for sole occupancy.
Location
The chalet is located 450 metres, or a 6 ½ minute walk from the shops, bars, ski slopes and lifts of Tignes Les Brevieres. Les Brevieres is the original “old town” of Tignes, and its benefit is that it has the best glacier skiing in the alps, but without the ugliness of a high altitude ski resort.

The slopes which run from the top of Tignes down to our chalets in Brevieres are also some of the best Blue to Black descents in Tignes, also with easy routes for beginners.

Empty Beds
To gain private use of a chalet you may pay for empty beds if your group falls short of the chalets' rated capacity. E.g. a 12 person group in a 14 person chalet will pay 2 empty beds to get sole occupancy. Empty beds are charged at the standard per person rate again minus £150.
Extra Beds & Sofa Beds
You may add beds to a chalet or use sofa beds if your group exceeds the rated capacity. E.g. a group of 12 might want to take a smaller 10 person chalet. This is particularly suited if you have small children and they will get a £100 reduction p/pers.
Small Print
Multiple discounts are not necessarily allowed.
Discounts must be claimed at time of initial reservation.
Discounts are not for use with agency bookings without out prior agreement.
Reducing Group size may result in the loss of the original discount.
Quad room discounts may be down-scaled for some dates.
Child discounts apply to 1 ch p/adult. Child share is sharing parent’s room on put-up bed (0-5 yr)

Chalets with split occupancy ratings (e.g. 8-10 bed chalet) will mean that two of the beds (9th & 10th beds) are on "put up" or "sofa beds" and although the option is offered, we feel the chalet to be better suited to the smaller occupancy (8 persons). To this end over occupancy discounts of £100 per extra bed will be available.
ATOL Protection is £1 per passenger, as per new requirements from CAA - April 1st 2008. This will be included in your total holiday price.
