Les Trois Vallées needs little introduction as one of the world's truly great places to ski and board. The resort has a little over 600kms of pisted slopes on tap and lots of high altitude skiing that is extremely well linked. The diversity of the slopes and the itineraries for skiing in the Three Valleys is simply staggering. From a cruisey ski over into 
neighbouring Meribel or Val Thorens to a complete 70km circuit in a day, this area will appeal to all abilities and all levels of skier and boarder. Further snowmaking facilities this season will mean even easier access to the Meribel area from Les Menuires.
Expert skiers and snowboarders will love the sheer quantity of Off Piste on offer to them, as well as the well connected slopes and the diversity of runs on offer. One can ski or ride over to Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens or St Martin de Belleville for a truly great experience and very different terrain, and all on the same extended area ski pass!
BEGINNERS SKIING
Novice skiers and boarders will find they have specially reserved ski areas to practice their turns. Snow schools are very good for both young and old, with an abundance of English speaking instructors. Les Menuires now has 5 moving carpet tran=velators specifically aimed at skiing and snowboarding beginners.
