Following our recent visit to Hotel Chamois Les Gets (13th - 20th June) I would like to compliment all the staff, they were attentive and helpful throughout our stay.
I have to save a special mention to Billy the Rep, who is a credit to your company, this young man works extremely hard and looked after not just us but all visitors to the hotel. He was helpful and attentive and could not do enough to ensure we got the most out of our trip.
I would happily recommend Alpine Elements, Hotel Chamoix to my friends and colleagues.
The only comment I would make is you could do with a new seating in the bar area as the leather settee looks shabby.

I was really impressed by the staff. They were really friendly and welcoming. They always had time to answer questions about the locality and seemed like they couldn't do enough for us. The staff were well organised and well motivated. The rooms, beds, linen etc were simple but clean. It was just what was needed for a group snowboarding holiday. We were sorry to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Hotel Chamois again.

My wife and i have just returned from a long weekend at the Hotel Chamois and it not only met our brief of a short break ski hotel but surpassed expectations. After a full days skiing, it was perfectly adequate as all you need is a comfy bed, clean sheets and a bathroom - which is what we got. The food for me was the highlight, breakfast was limited with cereals, yoghut and one hot option available but the evening meal was fantastic, well varied and excellent quality.

The location is brilliant, the staff are extremely hard working and pleasant, huge boot room, decent food (if you don't like the menu, they'll make you something else) and the rooms are fine.

What we found was a fabulous hotel, the rooms were basic but perfectly adequete. They were clean and well presented. The staff were absolutely fabulous - always a smile and happy to help in any way they could. The food was great, far better than the food I have had in other chalets. The location puts you five minutes walk from the lifts, from the bars and pubs, from the ice rink and the shops - there is nothing that is not within easy walking distance.

For me it was the small things that made it such a fantastic experience, every member of staff without fail would ask how your day has been and made the time to actually listen to your answer, some of the other exceptional points from our stay was that the entire team were more then happy to join in with our games making the entire holiday memorable.
A major point that to me exceeded all expectations was at dinner time, when 2 other fussy eaters and i were catered for to ensure we were able to eat with the rest of our party. The rooms were perfectly adequate for what we needed it provided us with clean sheets on the bed + a bathroom.

There is a nice little bar in the reception that opens from 1pm till midnight and is the social centre of the hotel - we sat about on the comfy sofas with a beer playing pool, cards and generally chatting to other guests - you will know everyone in the place by first name after a day or two....as I said this is a really social hotel.
Foodwise I could not have been happier (I am an Area Manager in the Catering Industry and a complete foodie!). I have a few fussy eater friends and as soon as the team in the hotel were made aware our table of 7 were served 3 completely different meals - one example of their fantastic passion for guest welfare. In short if you want plush go elsewhere if you want to be close to the slopes, warm, well fed, welcomed and have a really fun time dont think twice about staying at the Chamois.

The accommodation is fairly basic but everywhere seemed clean. The breakfast and evening meal was well varied and they were happy to offer alternatives if something on the menu was not liked.
The staff were all extremely helpful and very polite.
The hotel is in a good location a couple of minutes walk from the the main ski lift. I would definitely return to the Chamois

“Chamois Les Gets great position, great staff, great value"
Just come back from a Wed-Sun break with Alpine Elements at Hotel Chamois and found it absolutely fantastic no complaints at all. It is exactly as described in the brochure 'as basic but comfortable and honest ski accommodation, which is excellent value' Its position is fantastic 200m from the lifts, the staff although young were really helpful and friendly throughout our time there.

We found the evening meals wonderful. Great portions, and very very tasty! The tea and cakes on return from the slopes were a nice treat.
The hotel is centrally located and considering the cost we all thought it was value for money. If you are paying that little you need to be realistic! It was clean, friendly and we had a wonderful Christmas there.

I've just returned from 4 days at this Hotel with 5 other 40+ friends, and we're all used to staying in 4 star+ accommodation on a regular basis. If there's something to complain about we soon would! We didn't travel with high expectations, and we got what we thought; basic amenities. Place was clean and tidy though dated. Staff were friendly and responded to our request for an extra bed within 5 minutes of arrival. They carried our bags upstairs to our rooms for us. Food was good and beer was the cheapest in Les Gets.

For the budget we had this year we were more than satisfied - our friends visited Les Gets the week after us and popped in to have a look - they would be quite happy to take their kids there.
It is a great location just off the centre and very handy for lifts / ski hire etc.

We had a wonderful holiday obviously due to the excellent ski conditions but also due to the warm and friendly the staff.
All the Alpine Elements team deserve a huge thanks and yes the Hotel Chamois is basic but we would recommend it and yourself to anyone. Roxy was in her element and certainly had the staff running around after her. Many thanks for all the help in booking this and the effort that you went to to allay our worries regarding the rooms following the reviews on trip adviser.

“We loved every minute of it”
Very pleasantly surprised we had various french cuisine and English cuisine and there was plenty of it too! The hotel is very well situated in town and only a few minutes walk from the main lifts and the town centre with plenty of places to eat and bars are also close by.

"It's all about the atmosphere - and because of the team this was perfect."
Probably not your cup of tea if you're after fine finishes and rarefied service but if you're looking for somewhere with a chilled atmosphere and a team that make you smile after a day on the slopes, then this is the perfect place for you. With a very relaxed and open style, the manager, Tav, has got a really friendly, very hard working, happy team that made you feel right at home from the minute you arrived to the moment you left. Saving hard to go back!

While every member of staff was great those that stood out during our stay were Tav the Hotel Manager, Callum the bar manager, Jade the housekeeping manager, Matt the resort manager and Sophie, Beth, Jasmine and Henry.

“Good basic accommodation, Excellent food & Friendly Staff.”
My wife and i have just returned from a long weekend at the Hotel Chamois and it not only met our brief of a short break ski hotel but surpassed expectations having read some of the reports on here. If you are a hotel snob then look else where, if you are practical about your holiday then the Chamois is perfect.
The rooms are clean, so are the linen and towels. Yes, the accommodation is basic and yes the walls are thin but the quiet policy does seem to work. After a full days skiing, it was perfectly adequate as all you need is a comfy bed, clean sheets and a bathroom.
which is what we got.
Operating a wet shoe policy did mean that the hallway, dining room and stairways were dry and clean. The carpets do need replacing but with the footfall it is not surprising that they have become tired and worn. *make sure you take a pair of slippers for use inside the hotel*
The food for me was the highlight, breakfast was limited with cereals, yoghut and one hot option available but the evening meal was fantastic, well varied and excellent quality.
The staff were all extremely helpful and very polite. The location of the hotel is not too far (approx 500 metres) from the ski hire shop and the main ski lift. The boot and ski room is large enough that even the wettest clothing can dry over night.
I would definitely return to the Hotel Chamois in the future.
