Chalet Colette La Plagne Review

I have just returned from the best skiing holiday I have had, and just thought i should write and let you guys know (could you just forward it to the relevant people).

We all had an amazing time. Not only was it a lovely chalet, great location, amazing food, and our ever need meet, we also had a the best chalet boy - Stu, and assistant manager Anglia.

There would of been only one thing to make out holi's/ journey a little easier. We could not find the meeting point of alpine elements when we got off the plane, so a really big sign at the arrive gate would help future guests, and alpine element staff.

Thank you Thank you Thank you to the whole of your team. We defo be recommending alpine elements, and would love to travel with you again especially if we had another Stuart.

Just a quick note to say thanks for the stay in Chalet Colete & chalet Hannah in La Plagne 18. We had a cracking week and amazing skiing very close to the chalet. We are going to try your chalets in Arcs 2000 next year - so expect a call nearer the time!

On arrival at the chalet, the assistant resort manager (Angela I believe!?) informed us that our intended host had 'left' the company and that we had a replacement host!?!, we accepted this and went on the slopes for a few cheeky runs before the first nights meal!!!.

On arrival at the chalet just before the 7:30 meal time, we met our 5 other fellow guests and our chalet host replacement Lori who immediately made us feel very welcome and provided us with an amazing 3 course meal!!!... and to think that she had flown in from Morzine that morning makes it even more of an achievement , as everything was as new there to her as it was to us!!!!. If I'm being honest!, I was expecting a good first meal, then the rest of the meals to go downhill but they were all equally as good if not better!!.

Lori was also the perfect host in regards to company, a great conversationalist!, she made great efforts to chat to everyone on a one to one basis and was excellent company when she joined us at the table for our evening meals!! a very intelligent girl! but very modest with it!!. With regards to the other aspects of her role, they too were excellent!

Our rooms were regularly cleaned, clean towels etc, excellent afternoons cakes!!! ;)

I'm not sure what communication takes place between your London office and the various resorts?!, but if at all possible?, it would be very nice if Lori/and her manager could be made aware of how happy we were with her and how good she made our trip and has renewed/secured future trips with Alpine Elements!!!
 
So on behalf of Stuart Thompson, Carl Thompson, Paul Buckley, Richard Grey, Ollie Morgan and Myself, I would like to thank Lori and hope we are fortunate enough to meet more of her kind on future Alpine Element trips!!!
