The Chalet-Hotel
A newly renovated, charming and characterful chalet-hotel in the centre of Chamonix and just 2 minutes from the nursery slopes. The hotel offers excellent value accommodation in the centre of one of France's most vibrant mountain towns. The Bdn, (short for Boule de Neiges), was completely renovated over summer 2006 to offer a very comfortable chalet-hotel in Chamonix. Guests have a private comfy lounge with Dvd-Tv and Wi-fi and a wonderful sun terrace that looks out over Mont Blanc and affords spectacular views of the mountains. Downstairs has a very atmospheric boutique-bar and brasserie which is run separately to the Hotel.

Location
The Bdn is a very central hotel, located just a stone's 
throw from the ski slopes and lifts in Chamonix which are less than 2 mins walk away. It is a rare thing indeed for a hotel or chalet in Chamonix to be located so close to the ski slopes and amenities.
The bar / brasserie is a public venue and is run separately to the hotel. However we have provided a private "comfy lounge" for guests in the main hotel - refer to Chalet Plans.

Empty Beds
To gain private use of a chalet you may pay for empty beds if your group falls short of the chalets' rated capacity. E.g. a 12 person group in a 14 person chalet will pay 2 empty beds to get sole occupancy. Empty beds are charged at the standard per person rate again minus £150.
Extra Beds & Sofa Beds
You may add beds to a chalet or use sofa beds if your group exceeds the rated capacity. E.g. a group of 12 might want to take a smaller 10 person chalet. This is particularly suited if you have small children and they will get a £100 reduction p/pers.
Small Print
Multiple discounts are not necessarily allowed.
Discounts must be claimed at time of initial reservation.
Discounts are not for use with agency bookings without out prior agreement.
Reducing Group size may result in the loss of the original discount.
Quad room discounts may be down-scaled for some dates.
Child discounts apply to 1 ch p/adult. Child share is sharing parent’s room on put-up bed (0-5 yr)
Air Fuel, APD, Flight Supplements and Room Supplements may apply (Airfuel/APD is £42.90pp)
Loyalty discounts are for adults & not for Dec 28, Feb 15, Apr 5 weeks.
Chalets with split occupancy ratings (e.g. 8-10 bed chalet) will mean that two of the beds (9th & 10th beds) are on "put up" or "sofa beds" and although the option is offered, we feel the chalet to be better suited to the smaller occupancy (8 persons). To this end over occupancy discounts of £100 per extra bed will be available.
ATOL Protection is £1 per passenger, as per new requirements from CAA - April 1st 2008. This will be included in your total holiday price.
Weekends
The rising cost of scheduled airfares may require supplements to be added to the above w/end rates. Please call us for a latest "live" price for your intended weekend away. The sooner you book then the cheaper w/ends will be as they do require more expensive scheduled airfares, rather than the cheaper week to week charters.
